TONY'S BIRTHDAY AND A SPECIAL VISIT!!~

Tony and I had a SUPER BUSY weekend! Friday night we got together with Curtis & Deedra for dinner & a movie. We met at Goodwood in Boise and had BBQ RIBS.

We both shared a rack of Baby Back ribs.....Tony's favorite!!

We were both salivating!  lol

Actually, I loved the FREE dessert they gave to Tony for his Birthday!  lol We shared it with Curtis & Deedra! Mmmmmm, it was delicious!

I fed the maraschino cherry to my sweet Birthday Boy!

We went to the new Star Trek movie after dinner and it was really really good. So much better than  the MAN OF STEEL, we saw the previous weekend. (Sorry Stillman!  lol) Saturday morning we got up early to work in the yard before it got so hot. We managed to re-adjust the bench around the big tree in the backyard. We mowed the yard and trimmed the bushes and just did a lot of general cleanup. Then Saturday afternoon, we went to my friends house to help her move into an apartment building. I was really hoping that there was going to be a lot of men there to help but as it turned out ....just me and Tony and Kim. We loaded all of her boxes that were in the garage as well as her brand new couch. Then she had to go to the apartment building to get the key so Tony and I loaded her bed and hope chest and dresser as well as a few other items. I was getting pretty tired but we drank water she had in her fridge( it was 100 degrees outside) When she got back we followed her to the apartment building and started to unload things. All was well till we got to the couch. We couldn't get it in the doorway of the apartment building (too many twists and turns. We had to take it back out and all the way around the building to the sliding glass doors in the back. We were almost there and I was exhausted and started feeling sick and tingly. I had to stop and the two of them finished taking it to the doors. I was sitting down at a picnic table trying to catch my breath when Tony called me to come open the doors. We got it in and then left her to put things away. We were returning the trailer to the owner and I felt faint and sick. We went home and I laid down for about two hours. When I was finally feeling better I got up to start some preparation for my visitors on Sunday morning.

Barb and Jerry and Katrin had been up to Riggins floating the river with some of her relatives. They were staying at Gordon's and wanted to go to Sacrament meeting with Tony and me. They had to fly out 4:45 in the afternoon so we decided to have breakfast together. Jill and the kids had also got into town on Saturday so I asked them to come and Traci & Jason and kids. As it was, Claire went to her dad's house and Sophia and Isabel were camping with friends so we didn't have all the kids.

But we had a great breakfast together before the kids had to leave. Traci & Jason were both teaching so had to leave by 10:30. Jill & the kids left shortly after that. Tony had Katrin in the back room watching the Piano Guys videos and Barb, Jerry and I caught up in the front living room.

It was a great visit BUT NOT LONG ENOUGH!!  I love the Clydes! Barb is just like one of my sisters. We always had such good times together. They are a great family! It was fun to have all the kids over too. I definitely don't get to see them enough. I loved the faces ....  Mostyn with his BIG BUG EYES, Hawkins with his CLOSED and Andrew with a CRAZEE face & a thumbs down!  Caden , the PERFECT GENTLEMAN!! And Scotlyn, the little ANGEL ! Good Times!
