4th OF JULY CELEBRATIONS .... JUST THE TWO OF US!

We had a HAPPY 4TH OF JULY ..... Just the Two of US!

We hadn't made big plans for the 4th because I had to close the office on Wednesday and immediately after work we took Kim (my 1st counselor) to Walmart to pick up a kitchen table & chairs and an entertainment center. She just moved into a new apartment and needed some furniture.  After she bought it we ran to Costco so I could get my glasses fixed and we all grabbed a quick bite to eat. We then went to her apartment and assembled the furniture. Of course Tony did all the hard work but I helped him as best I could. The table and chairs were easy but the entertainment center was tough!! We finally finished at 11:30 with the assmebly work and then Tony put up a curtain rod in her bedroom. We were home and in bed a little after midnight. It was a long day. We were both glad that Thursday was the holiday! WE SLEPT IN!  lol  After getting up, I frosted my hair ..... AGAIN.... if I don't quit dying my hair, it's gonna fall out!  That will look good ....NOT!   Most of Tony's kids were in Utah for a family reunion on their mother's side and Traci was working and Jill and her kids had plans with her folks. Tony tried to call Chris & Tamara to see if they wanted to get together and go to a movie or something. They didn't answer. Then later while I was curling my hair, Tony tried again and Tammy said they were on their way to the movie EPIC and then having a BBQ with the neighbors.   We had talked to Kim about going to THE LONE RANGER the previous night so we called her .... no answer  (What's up with people not answering their cell phones .... is it cuz we're calling!  lol) Anyway, we left a message for Kim and then decided to drive to her apartment. She wasn't there so we drove to her mom's home. She wasn't there either ...... SO WE DECIDED TO MAKE IT A 4TH OF JULY DATE DAY ....Just the two of us!  lol

We went to the new LONE RANGER show. I liked it. It was silly but Johnny Depp ALWAYS plays the best parts. After the movie, we went shopping for new sandals for the two of us. We looked at several stores in Nampa and then went to Boise and checked out several more. We haven't pinpointed the purchase yet but Tony is off today so he will continue the search......

After shopping till 7PM, we decided to use the gift card that Jeff & Christa gave us for Christmas last year. SO we went to the CHEESECAKE FACTORY and had dinner. It was Delish! Thank you Jeff and Christa! We loved it. We then went home and watched some new episodes of MERLIN.  At 10:30 I decided I needed to get to bed so I could get up for work today! It was a fun day as we always enjoy spending time together. AND A BIG SHOUT OUT to my sister DONNA! Happy Birthday to the most wonderful older sister a girl could ask for. I love her and am so grateful to her for the GREAT EXAMPLE she set for all her siblings! It's only fitting that she share her birthday with our great nation. She is a firecracker!!
