OK..... it was a MOVIE WEEKEND!! lol When I got off work Friday night, Tony and I went to Carl's Jr. to grab a burger. We had coupons !! YAY! Love a buy one get one for free type of deal! The Dollar Theater that is close to Carl's Jr. just replaced all their crappy seats with Stadium Seating! We decided to go see EPIC and try them out. The seats were GREAT! Tony said he was willing to go the this Theater a lot more now because the seats are so nice!
(By the way, the show was cute! We both liked it and were entertained and comfy! lol )
SO...... we did just that .... Saturday morning, we got up and I mowed the yard while Tony weed eated and blew all the leaves off the patio. We then took a quick trip to the grocery store and COSTCO to get some things. I had some rhubarb from the garden and needed some strawberries to make a couple of pies! After getting the groceries, we went home and I made 2 pies while Tony studied his lesson for Sunday. We then went back to the theater to watch OBLIVION in the cheap seats!
(By the way, ........ strange movie and not so good) Glad we didn't pay full price to see this one.

Saturday evening after the show I told Tony I wanted to run to the Idaho Center to see some of the Horse Show that Ann and the little girls were in. Sophia had already done her ride and she won 1st place. She won..... MONEY .... MOOLA! She wasn't sure how much at that point but she was sure excited. I guess her horse threw a shoe during the routine and it spooked but Sophia was able to get him under control and take 1st place. The show continued into Sunday morning so I got ready to go to church and hurried over to see if I could catch the girls riding. I DID!! This is Sophia and Isabel towards the back. |

And here is Isabel. The girls were practicing in the arena when I got these pictures. After practicing, they cleared the arena and Isabel was going to ride 1st in her age group. All of a sudden the announcer said Isabel McGregor has scratched. I called Sophia and asked her what happened. She said Belle was not able to get her horse to spin so she was upset and didn't want to compete. She's so small and SPARKS is so big ..... I just don't think she has the strength to make that big ole horse obey all her commands. |
|
She came up in the stands and sat with me while we watched Sophia compete. She sure is a cute little Cowgirl!! |
|
One more picture of the two girls practicing. |
|
Andrew was having the time of his life playing around the arena. I told him that he sure made those boots look good! |
|
Caden came and sat with me too. He turns 15 today!! (The 8th of July!) He will be a Missionary before we know it!! After watching the little girls I hurried home and Tony and I went over our FHE Lesson for that evening. Off to Choir Practice and then the block. Tony went home teaching immediately after church so Art and Lynn brought me home. After Tony got home we went to Art & Lynn's for our weekly FHE and dinner. I brought my Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. We had a good dinner, a good lesson and some fun playing games for a bit. End of another busy weekend. |
