FRIDAY!~

Today, we got up and headed to the Rec Center. It was a FREE DAY so Deedra didn't have to use her last ticket to get in. She and Gramma (Lynn) were already there. Deedra had walked a lap and Lynn was in the weight room. We walked our 4 miles and then we went down to the weight room. Deed's left after doing some work on her arms. When we finished, we took off and went to COSTCO for some half & half and some lettuce. We ended up getting a hot dog and a drink. Then we ran the car through the car wash and headed home. Deedra was picking up the girls from Tammy's house and coming over. The girls were going to help me make the cupcakes for our 24th of July celebration tomorrow. 

I sent Deedra a text and told her we were home. I waited for a while but my oven was ready to roll so I went a head and mixed up the cup cakes. I almost had them poured into the cupcake pans when they got here. Sorry girls. Gramma Vernies impatient. lol The girls were happy to play in the toy box and Grandpa got a movie on for them. We visited with Deedra and then she went back to Grandma Lynn's to cook eggs for her BBQ with the Butterfield's tonight. 

I went out to pick zucchini. I tried to pawn some off on Deedra but she didn't think she wanted any.  They look like the right size.......

NOT!!  lol   the picture above is the 2 little ones!  Ha ha,  The other's got away from me...as usual!

The little girls wanted something to eat. They were a little disturbed that I didn't have Cheese crackers. I told them I quit buying them after they moved and they said "But, we come back to visit".  lol

A GOOD POINT!

It was a "no" to Ritz crackers but they settled for orange juice, cashews and ice-cream. 

Deedra came to get the girls a little after 4 and they had to get back to Lynn's to make the eggs into deviled eggs. Hopefully, we'll see them tomorrow before they leave for home. If not, they will be back next weekend for Elle's homecoming.

Jim Wallace was going to come this afternoon to fix the chip in our granite but something came up and he can't come till tomorrow. We had to cancel that time because we will be too busy tomorrow.  Temple shift, shopping for the Ward party and going over to set up and then party with the ward family!  Maybe, Monday!
