HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!
It was a fantastic day!! We slept in (till almost 9:30)  because Tony didn't have to go to the Cancer Ctr. today.  We couldn't believe we slept that long!!  Guess we needed it!

We dressed appropriately and did our walking!!
It was funny! A man passed Tony (wearing the exact same shirt) and Tony said, "I like your shirt"  the man laughed and said "I like yours too"!

We got our 4 miles in and then did some weights. Not as many as usual because Tony's shoulder is still bothering him.

I love the Japanese Maples outside the Rec Center. Absolutely beautiful! We came home and cleaned up. I worked on my lesson for Sunday and I feel good about it. Will just continue to go over it the rest of the week. Lynn came over at 3 o'clock and we got Joyce and went to Taco Bell for a dinner!

lol  How American is that???

American or not, it was a GREAT DEAL!!  We all got the $5 dollar lunch box! It included a taco, a burrito, a chalupa, a large drink (which we all refilled) and cinnamon stix!! It was pretty good too!

All of us went home with leftovers!!  Lunch tomorrow!! We had time till the movie started so we went back to our house to play Golf. Joyce went home to put her leftovers in her fridge and when she was walking back over, two of the little neighbor kids walked her across the street. Pretty cute!

They wanted to come in and visit. lol The little girl asked if she could have a tour of our house? So we gave it to her. She was sweet and said they were having a 4th of July party at her house this evening and she invited us. We thanked her but had to decline because we bought tickets to
 THE SOUND OF FREEDOM!
They left to go home and we sat down to play our game. The door bell rings again and the little boy was back and wanted to play with the toys. We let him in and called his dad to tell him he was at our place playing.

We had fun playing for about 1 and 1/2 hours and then needed to leave to go to the show. Tony called Aaron and told him we were leaving so his little boy went home. Then Lynn discovered her purse was missing. We looked in the trunk of her car (which is where she thought it was) NOPE! Tony went back in the house to look around, NOPE! Then we decided we'd better go back to Taco Bell and sure enough, she had left it. They had it in their safe. We went through it when we got in the car, and everything was there! Phew!

We got to the theater and a nice lady took our picture.
The show was phenomenal! GUT WRENTCHING but done very well! Everyone needs to support this film! Child trafficking has got to stop. Our children are not for sale!!!

When we got home, we walked over to Shawn and Suzette's to tell them they need to go. They plan on it as soon as they are back from California. I'll be cat sitting again.

They were doing sparklers so I got a picture of each of them!

Then Shawn took several of us and got a firework in the sky!
Pretty cool!

It was a GREAT DAY! The little ladies enjoyed it so much and thanked us profusely! I hope ALL our families enjoyed themselves!!
