JARRETT'S ARE COMING HOME!~

I have been tending Katie Kat for a week and a half. I go in every other day and give her a good scratch, give her a treat, clean her kitty litter and then give her another good scratch. She's a good kitty but I have to say, I'm glad I don't own one. lol I can enjoy others pets.

We pick the Jarrett's up this evening at the airport. 6PM! I don't know who will be gladder to have them home? Me or Katie Kat? lol

After dumping Katie's load of goodies she left for me, lol   I came home to water my pots. It's been so hot and they dry out quickly. I finally have a TIGER LILY blooming!! There are a couple more buds so at least I'll have a few!

My Begonia flowers haven't quite opened up and seems to be hiding under the leaves. Maybe it's just too hot for them!

Hopefully soon, they will be opened in all their glory!!

Tony was putting Ironite on ours's and Joyce's lawn so I watered the dry spots in the Jarrett's lawn.

We headed to Lynn's when he finished. I went in to visit while he spread it on Lynn's yard but no one was around but Alice. She was watching cartoons. (although she told me IT WAS NOT CARTOON"S, it's a show! lol)  I guess Deedra and Lynn were still upstairs and Garrett and Charlotte were in the basement. No one came down so when Tony finished, we left and came home to change and head to the gym. 

We saw Melissa as we were going in and visited with her for a while. She was cutting Deedra's hair at noon . We went upstairs to walk our 4 miles and on our 2nd lap I noticed she was still on the bench downstairs. I yelled at her and got her picture! 

We finished up our walk and weights and came home. I weighed myself and I am down 10 and a half pounds, but I have a good 45 to go. Sure and steady wins the race. I've got to keep it up!!

My Physical Therapist (Shawn Weatherston) is on Jeopardy tonight! We will be at the airport picking up the Jarrett's so we are recording it!! I can't wait to see how he does. He's such a nice guy!

I wish him, well! (He isn't little either)  lol

I found out my cousin (Patsy) who passed away several years ago, husbands died today. It was such a blessing for him as he was diabetic and had to have both legs amputated a few months ago. He ended up finally coming home but got a bad infection and was septic. I know he and Patsy are happy to be together again and he is whole!

We left for the airport at 5:30. It was 100 degrees outside. We didn't have to wait terribly long for the Jarrett's to deboard and we picked them up and came home.

We fixed ourselves a root beer float and then sat down to watch Jeopardy!

Shawn didn't win (came in 2nd)  but it was fun to watch!

After the double Jeopardy, he ended up with $2000 dollars. He got the answer right and the lady didn't so she lost a lot of her money but the guy on the left  knew the right answer too and he bet nearly 10,000. BUMMER!  But still fun to watch.

It was a good day!
