PRAYING FOR BROOKS!~

We got a text yesterday from my brother Dave. His youngest son and his family are in Hawaii on vacation. Mike & Alyssa have two boys named Brooks and Logan. Both of the boys are quite athletic and little dare devils. The family was cliff jumping into the water and Brooks (I think he's 10) wanted to jump one last time before they went back to the resort. His dad and younger brother were waiting in the water below. Brooks scrambled up the cliffs and lost his balance and fell 25 to 30 feet to the  rocks below and then into the water. His dad got to him quickly and they put him on a surf board that someone had nearby. He was taken to the ER and suffered, lacerations, 2 broken orbital bones, a concussion and memory loss. They were released from the hospital last night around 9 but are waiting on a physicians OK so they can fly home.

We had to be at the temple this morning at 5:30am. We have his name on the prayer roll in several temples. Meridian, Boise, Portland, Helena, and Draper that I know of.  It was still dark this week when we arrived.

A bit overcast when we left the temple, but it was sunny when we got out of COSTCO. We had to stop and get Lynn some garbage bags. We also grabbed some half and half and then went to WINCO to get root beer for tomorrow's dessert. Lynn's bringing ice-cream so I wanted floats AGAIN! LOL I got a text from Jenni asking if Tony could go over to Terri Wilburn's house and look at her sprinkler system to see if he could get it up and going. I also got a text from Joyce, asking if I wanted her raspberries. I told her I would pick them after we finished at Terri's. We went to Terri's and Tony said her sprinkler system was older than he was!! lol He tried to get it programmed and find all her heads but she has so many weeds that he couldn't find them all. He had to use a pry bar to get into her solenoid zone box and it was full of water and he said he'd never seen solenoids like them before. He told her she would have to get in touch with a sprinkler pro cuz he had no idea.

We stopped by his mother's place to drop off the garbage bags and he ended up working on her sprinkler system as well. Lynn keeps complaining about a dry spot in the middle of her lawn. He knows her system well so took an hour to work on her zones. Blowing out heads and messing with the times on the zones. Finally got completed, and we came home. I got the mail when we got home and the ink Tony ordered for Joyce's printer was here. He ran it over and then came back and said Joyce wanted me to come over and pick the berries. He said his mother called when he got to Joyce's and he had to go back over and look for her wallet.  He wasn't happy!  I called Joyce and said I would come over when it cooled off a bit this evening. She said she was afraid they wouldn't be good if I waited.....I waited anyway! We were hot and tired. We got up at 4am afterall!  lol
When these women want something, they want it
RIGHT NOW! lol

I went into my back yard to see how our plants were doing.

Got a couple more blooms on flowers.

And I had zucchini galore. I like the small ones but one or two of them are too big for my liking. The Slover's are coming back over in the morning  and Tony is going to try and get her on the program he couldn't get her on last week. I'll give her a couple of them. lol
Well, guess I'll head over to Joyce's for berries.
I DID IT!~
There weren't very many but I will keep checking throughout the week for more. Also, I can pick the Jarrett's berries because they are leaving for California for over a week and I will be cat sitting for them. They have berries that have come over the fence from Joyce's house, so I will check them as well.
