A GREAT SUNDAY!~

Tony was rather noisy last night so I ended up going down to the couch to sleep. I should have been dead tired since we got up at 4 and didn't get to bed till after 11 o'clock but since I couldn't sleep with all his "mumbling in his sleep" and the gurgling, I went down to read. I finally got tired enough to sleep at 1 or so. I did go back up to bed around 4:30.  Consequently, when he got up at 8, I stayed in bed till 9. When I got up, I got ready for church and then went down and we had some toast and fresh watermelon. Then I made a quiche because I had some fried bacon to use up. I figure we can eat it for breakfast  for the next week.

Well, maybe not that long. It's pretty good stuff so it may be gone in a couple of days. lol  They started choir practice up again today and we planned on going. I read my book until it was time to go. We picked up Joyce & Lynn and off we went. It looked like it was going to rain all day.....and it still hasn't!  BOO :(

Sacrament meeting was really good. Our Patriarch and his wife were the speakers. They both did such a great job. Then Tom Bugby taught the Sunday School lesson. It was his 2nd time teaching and he did a great job. We talked about the Savior and how we are all trying to be like him but we will never be perfect BUT, he fills in all that we lack.  His grace is wonderful. So thankful for that!

Tony had a Priesthood planning meeting at 4 o'clock so he took us all home and Joyce went over to Lynn's until he and I went over after he got finished.  Lynn made pork ribs and Joyce made beets from her garden and an apple salad. Tony loves his pork ribs! lol

It was a good dinner. We had my cake after we finished.

Blake even came up and had some. His girlfriend gets home this Thursday so he'll be going to Preston early Friday morning to see her. So excited for him. After we cleaned up the kitchen, we played some GOLF and I won!! lol  After our game, we watched

and then came home. It was a good day!
