FRIDAY

We planned on going to the temple this morning at 10 to 10 because Joyce had her house cleaner coming at 9. We had told Lynn several times that we would be going to the 11:00 o'clock session. I'm getting a little worried about her. she showed up at our house this morning at 10 to 8. LOL  We were still in bed! Why get up early if ya don't have to. She said she'd go home and work on her computer. So we got ourselves ready and I read my book after breakfast till 5 to 10. Tony was reading the paper and I said, now you're mom's 5 minutes late. lol He called her and she said she was working on the computer and forgot. She'd be right over. lol 

We found out Tammy and Chris were going to the temple as well to celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary and then they were going to the Anniversary Inn. We told them we were going so they joined us. It was so nice. We did the 11 o'clock session together and then spent a little time together in the Celestial Room before we had to hurry off to get to the 1'oclock session.  We got out at 3 and it was a lot warmer than when we went in. lol We drove home and the traffic was horrible. I'm not sure what happened but the cops were directing traffic at Midland Blvd. We finally made it to 

CHICK FIL A for lunch. 

Lynn and I had a salad and Tony and Joyce had a chicken sandwich. Joyce is so funny. I got them a mint while we waited for our lunch and she ate it quick. Then after she ate a bit of her sandwich, she asked if I would get her another mint. I gave her mine. She always says she wants her dessert 1st. lol SO, after we finished, I picked her up a couple for the road. She appreciated that. 

We always have a good day when we are able to go

 to the temple and then to lunch.

The ladies are going to a wedding reception tonight. They said they needed a wedding card and they didn't have time to go buy one before Ada and Melvin picked them up, so I told them I'd just made some and would get it for them. I ran upstairs and brought it down to Lynn who was waiting in the car.

I showed Lynn how it worked so they signed it and put some money in it and off they went with their youngest sister and her husband. We sat down and recorded the temple names and watched some 

"LONESOME DOVE". We'll be heading to bed in an hour. We plan to stay after our shift tomorrow and doing some initiatory and sealings. It'll be another good day. I saw Bethany Erickson in the 2nd session we did today, and I asked her when the youth are doing more baptisms. She said next week. I asked her if she would be able to do the 4 baptisms I did a month ago that didn't get recorded. She said she would. That makes me happy!
