SUNDAY, SUNDAY!~

We had a busy Sunday! 

Of course when we don't start church till 12:30 (for choir practice) the morning is relaxing but once we started, it was go go go! I slept on the couch last night because Tony was making weird noises and I couldn't tune him out. I managed to sleep very well once I went down stairs. Once he was up, I got up and got ready for church. Then I browned the roast and got it in the crock pot. I peeled potatoes and the carrots and then at 11:00, I put them in with the meat. It was already smelling really good. I read several chapters in my book and then at 12:15, we left to go to choir practice. Lynn and Joyce were with us and it went well. Then we had Sacrament meeting which was good. The sister missionaries spoke as well as Bishop Adamson. Mindy House taught the Relief Society lesson and Tony taught the Priesthood lesson. We hurried home after church and I got some food ready to take to Carol Ross. Lynn came with her coleslaw and Joyce made an apple pie so I filled two more containers with those items and then we all drove to Carol's apartment and we visited for about 15 minutes. We told her we had to leave because we still had to eat and then we were going to a baptism. I told her to call me when she gets her Dr. appointment and I will take her.

After we ate dinner, I cleaned up the kitchen and loaded the dishwasher and then the four of us took off for the Smith Building. It was Leo Solorzano Hernandez's baptism. There was a super good turnout from the Spanish Ward, our ward, and a couple others. It was GREAT but it was all in Spanish except for the baptism itself. Brother Poulsen baptized him and he doesn't speak Spanish so it was done in English.

The two Elder's spoke (in Spanish), Brother Bishop (between Leo & Kevin) gave the closing prayer, in Spanish. The music was in Spanish but us Gringo's sang the English words. lol It was pretty cool though. It was a super nice baptism and we had a wonderful time. We came home and I fixed us all a Root Beer Float and we watched THE CHOSEN till 9:30. We finished Season three. Time to start over till season four comes out. lol  It was a wonderful day and now it's time to read and turn out the lights! lol
