MONDAY!~

 Tony decided to sleep on the couch last night so I could get a better rest. (Bless His Heart)  I had to get up this morning to go to the hospital for labs. I meet with Dr. Keller next Monday and I always have to do labs a week before I see him. I didn't wake up till 8:30 myself.  I dressed, washed my face, put my hair in a clip and took off. Tony was still asleep so I didn't disturb him. It went smoothly and when I got home around 9:20, Tony was still sleeping. I made our Zip Fizz for the gym and came up and made my bed. I tried calling my sister Donna, to see if she'd heard any news about Rick, Eric and my mom. She didn't answer so guess I'll get ready to go to the gym. Tony just got up and it's almost 10. He must have been tired too. I brought the cards I made for Mary. On my 9th lap she called me and asked if I was there. I told her I was just finishing my laps and I would be down shortly. When I got down stairs, she was preaching to a lady. She introduced me to her and then she gave me a $20 and I gave her the cards. She gave one immediately to the gals she was talking to. I guess she feels she doesn't have to write in them. She asked me about my mom and I told her what had happened with Eric and Rick as well as Mom.

BIG MISTAKE!~ She grabbed my hands and said let us pray! We are right in the middle of the rec center, in front of everyone playing Pickle ball and the machines on the main floor.  I told her, I have been praying for my family and I also have been putting their names on the Temple Prayer Roll so I was good but she insisted!! I said, can we please go somewhere a little more private. She takes me back to the back of the main floor and stood by the wall between the men's and women's restrooms. She grabs my hands and starts to pray. At one point she says, we need help and she yells out HELP. Another time she says "knock on wood"  and knocks on the wall. I know she means well but I feel like  its a public display and I don't like it. She considers herself a bit of a Prophetess and I get uncomfortable when she does prayers like this in front of everyone.

Once she was done, I left to go out to the car. Tony was still doing some weights but I wanted to call Donna and see if she knew anything about Eric and Rick and Mom. I went out to the car and the leaves were blowing all over the place. It was a bit breezy!

We came home and we got started on the yards. I mowed our front yard and then Jenni showed up. She had called and asked if I would ride with her to take Ren to work. He is a young man in our ward who has MS and he lives with his mother and a bunch of cats. Their home is so filthy and it reeks so bad but he try's. His mother has cancer and was taken out of the home for a while by the Health Department because of the situation. She's back now and doing somewhat better but Ren lost his job at Walmart and is now working at DI. It's a tough situation. Anyway, after I got home, I got back to work. My flowers are all about done. I was surprised to see this one Dahlia in the pot. I actually emptied all the other pots.

Mother Hen and her Chicks sure doubled in size. 

The leaves are falling fast (at least in the back yard) The front tree has hardly lost any at all. I got out the blower and blew all the leaves out of the rocks and mowed up as best as I could. There will be more falling so I'll get to do it again next week! lol

I have a few flowers left but they are on their way out till next spring.  Makes me sad!  Love my flowers!!

Mara's are even drying up!

I finished my mowing and started on the garden. I picked a bunch of cucumbers and a few tomatoes. I was cutting back the plants so I could pull them out, when Tony got home from taking his mom to a hearing aid place. I had to quit because we told Shelly, we would help her set up tables and chairs for tomorrow's 

SILVER SWEETHEART luncheon.

We got to the Stake House and got busy!

Two Sister's from the Stake Committee were there to put table cloth's on and then we decorated them quickly!

We were done in a short amount of time.

Once we finished decorating the tables, I put salt & pepper on each table and then we filled water pictures and put them in the fridge. Then we went to Costco and got a slice of pizza and a drink and then home to finish our work!

Tony had to go over to Joyce's and finish her yard and I went to the garden and finished taking out the plants.

I got a few more ripe and not ripe tomatoes. I'd like to make some Salsa Verde with the green ones. I should also make some pickles with the cukes!  I'll try if things slow done enough for me to do it!!

When I was finished, I was taking the big garbage can back to the cement and noticed the bug lights on!!  I came in and showered and I am dog tired. I think we'll watch a little HEARTLAND and then go to bed. Another busy day ahead of us!!
