Woke up this morning to a lot of wind outside. The trees were rustling and there were things banging against the house. I could hear the rain coming down pretty hard. I have been sleeping in the recliner in the living room. I'm better able to help mom when she gets up without waking up Tony. Besides, I get a better nights sleep without having to share a full sized bed. We are not use to those cramped quarters. lol
Mom got up fairly early this morning and went into the restroom. She was in there for a long time. I tap on the door and ask if she is OK, but she doesn't hear a thing. She finally came out and she was pretty pale. She said she was nauseated and not feeling well at all. She didn't want to eat but wanted to get in her chair. I got her reclined and she rested there for quite a while. Tony got up and we both ate some breakfast. When she finally woke up it was like 11:30 am. She finally said she could eat a little breakfast so I made her some oatmeal and toast. Then got back in her chair.
Charcie & Ben left for their next trip and then Will came home for lunch. I offered him some clam chowder and he took me up on it. Mom told me last night that she had to eat softer foods. (The clams are just too hard for her to chew) Glad Will can help us clean it up.
Will went back to work and I read my book and Tony watched TV. I took all mom's kitchen towels and her bathroom washcloths upstairs, and did some laundry. At 2PM, Tony went to
THE CUSTARD KING
and got us another fish taco. Well, he got a shrimp taco as well as a fish taco. I just wanted one so I got a fish taco. It was raining buckets when he left. Still blowing too.
It's really not cold outside ( in the low 60's) but it always feels cooler when it's wet and windy. Mom decided she wanted to lay down for a nap. I helped her to her room and got her covered up.
We ate our lunch and enjoyed it immensely! We figure we're gonna take advantage of the food here because we leave for home early Friday morning.
We're gonna get BOW PICKER on Wednesday. Mom called my name from her room. I went in and she said she wanted to sit up but couldn't find her remote. I tried to tell her she wasn't in her chair, she was in her bed. She kept reaching for her remote and asked me to help her find it, I finally went and got a paper and wrote "You are in your bed"....you could see the cogs turning and then she says,
"I'm in my bed?, OH BROTHER!"
She can get disoriented pretty easily. Especially when she doesn't feel good. I got her up and she went to her chair again and crocheted. I fed her crackers and tuna around 4 o'clock. She hasn't been super hungry today. Sure hope she feels better tomorrow. At 6:30, she went "to take a five", as she puts it. Not sure how long she'll be out. Tony went up to help Will clean the house. He is having friends over tomorrow to watch "Lord of The Rings" and he has a lot to do tonight. Bless Tony's heart. He's such a good man!

It's fun to hear about your mom. She's a cute lady. Sorry about your sleeping conditions. At least you had a queen bed at our house, ha ha. Cool eclipse pics.
Yeah, It was wonderful to be with her.
