SATURDAY

Tony's a BED HOG!~ lol  However, Mom's guest room is a full size bed and after sleeping in a KING, it's so hard to sleep in a full. So, I'll give him that! I finally couldn't take it any longer, and had to get up at 1am. I slept in the recliner (which isn't much better ) but at least I was able to keep the entire blanket on me, and didn't have legs and :arms all over me! lol Mom got up at 7:30 am this morning. I thought she was just going to use the bathroom so I got up and soaked the raisins for her oatmeal and went back to the chair.  It was funny because I suggested she take a shower yesterday and she said NO, I DON'T NEED TO YET!~  but then I hear the shower go on this morning! I think she is so coherent and stubborn that she thinks I'll do it BUT, it will be my idea and when I want to! lol She was in there for quite a while! It was 9am before she came out in her house coat. She was ready to eat so I whipped up her oatmeal and toast and got her vitamins ready. She ate and then  

went to her chair! I had put the 2nd set of scriptures and Conference talks on her chair. She actually picked it up today and read it. It took her all last week to do the 1st set! Rick said she was reading one every day so maybe she's gonna do that now.

Tony got up and ate and was doing his exercises while watching HEARTLAND. We have really gotten into the series since being here at Mom's. We are so hooked that we are going to do what we can to get BYU Channel on our TV at home when we get back. Besides,there are some other really good shows on it. We can have the TV on when Mom's reading because she doesn't hear a thing. lol

Evidently, the shower wore her out because after her reading was done, she went to lay done again. She's funny. She say's 

"I'm just gonna take a five."

Tony got a picture from Phillip this morning. It's the eclipse! Pretty cool. I'm anxious to see the pictures that Charcie takes from down at Coo's Bay! It will be interesting to see the difference from different locations. Well, I'm doing laundry so better get back to it. 

I saw this on FACE BOOK and thought it was so cute and a GREAT reminder!  I've got to keep thinking this way!

Well, I ran out of crochet yarn so will make more purses....till I get some more! Maybe I'll even start the book I brought. (Problem is, I can hear and have a harder time reading with noise) lol

I told Tony to take my picture with mom, BUT he couldn't tell what I was trying to do so I never did get her to look at the camera. Next, I'll write it down! !!  Well, gotta make us some dinner. Mom's gettin hungry!

After dinner, I made some more purses. Got a few left to do but will start the book I brought. I'll do the remainder of the purses next week.
