CHRISTMAS DAY 2023

Tony and I slept in till 9:15 this morning. Once we were up, we had some toast and jam and then we took our gift over to the Jarrett's. 

They are such good neighbors. They took care of our house, picked up our mail and made sure things were Ok while we were in Astoria for the month. 

They took a picture of us in front of their tree.

I put lights in the lanterns I got for Christmas. Heather gave me one with Santa and I liked it so well, that Tony got me the Snowman one. I LOVE THEM!

We spent most of the day cleaning house. We got a lot of crap thrown out and organized. Melissa called at 2:45 and asked if we could stop by their house to get our Christmas gift. We were supposed to be at Chris & Tammy's at 3 so we called her to say we'd be a bit late. She said dinner still had 1/2 hour to cook so we were good!

Melissa's tree was so pretty! All the kids put in money and bought us a beautiful grill with a griddle on it. It's so nice!

Joe spent Christmas with them. He and Ellie are getting married on the 30th in Bountiful. It was so nice to see them for Christmas!

We visited a bit and then went to Chris & Tammy's and had a lovely ham dinner. It was delicious!

So glad they invited us over. 

After dinner we watched a couple of programs with drones. 

It was amazing!!

After leaving them, we headed to Boise to see Traci & the kids. Haven't seen them for so long! 

Andrew has grown a foot since I last saw him. The girls are both busy with work. Sure wish I got to see them more often.  It was nice to see so many family members today. Plan to go to see Jill on Wednesday and bring dinner. She's healing from a hysterectomy.
