COLD TUESDAY

Woke up to snow this morning. It was a cold day!!  

I typed a letter to Mom but our printer was out of ink. Tony and I went to out to shovel the walks and driveway and then we headed to Costco to look for ink. Unfortunately, they don't sell the one we need anymore. So, we headed to Staples and decided to order it on line. Tony brought me home and then he went to get an estimation on the car repair. They said it was going to be about $2800 approximately. Then he took our car to Bruneel to het the plate put back on under the car.  Jenni came to see me while he was gone. I also got rid of some coats and books .....I'm spring cleaning kind of. lol

Jeff went to see Mom today. He said he bought her a milkshake and it spilled in the car. I felt bad about that, as he is a clean freak (in the best way) She was asleep in her recliner when he got there so he and the boys went in and he placed his hand on her shoulder and she woke up. She looked at him and said, "Will, is that you"? He said, "It's Jeff, Laverne's Jeff" Then he wrote it on the dry erase board. 

He got a picture of Maddox and Paxson with her. So good to see her smiling! He told her what a nice place it was and asked her how she liked it. She said it was OK but she was going back to Astoria when Rick is better. I had to give Rick the heads up and warn him. 

She was happy to have a visit from him. She said to him, "Do you know you were the 1st one to visit us when we moved to Astoria"? He told her how close he was to her.10 minutes from work and 1/2 hour from his home. She was surprised. She kinda threw me and Tony under the bus by telling Jeff that we put her there. lol
