HOLY SNOW BAT MAN!~

Well, we knew it was coming and come IT DID!!
We woke up to another 4 inches today so we figured we've got somewhere around 14 inches total in the last 3 snowfalls.

We decided today was a workout at home and to forget the gym! lol

We started with a seep with the shovels so we could get the snow blower out in it with out getting the cord all snowy! we got our driveway done and then moved onto Patrick's next door to us. We were going to head over to Aunt Joyce's across the street when 3 BIG tractors came around the corner and starting clearing our street!
They were a beautiful sight!!

I was enthralled just watching them! I think the guys driving were totally enjoying their work!

Pretty impressive machines! Brought back memories of my dad. He worked for the county in Montana and went out on snow removal assignments all the time!

After they made some sweeps of the street, there was big mounds in front of our mailbox and driveway, so we proceeded to move the snow onto the grass so we wouldn't have trouble getting out. Then a big tractor with a bucket on the front came through and moved all the snow on the sides of the road and dumped it in a big pile on Patrick's yard.

It's garbage day tomorrow so we had to clear the tops of our cans!! lo

One big tractor with a blade meets one big tractor with a bucket!!
SO COOL!~

We went across the street and started on Aunt Joyce's driveway and the kid with the tractor that had a bucket, pulled onto her driveway and had it cleared in 3 swoops!!  It was awesome! I could have kissed him!! When we finished with Joyce's place (we did a little cleanup and her sidewalk to the front door) Tony went to help Shawn with his driveway and I went in to warm up!

I finished the card order for Mary and will deliver it to her on Monday. So glad to be done with this order! I appreciate the work BUT she is seriously a pain to work with. lol

I saw this on Facebook and had to laugh!!
We found JOY in the snow today!
In the afternoon we took Aunt Joyce to her doctor appointment over at St Lukes. Tony was going to go with his mother to see her lawyer in Boise but they postponed it till next week and I was so glad!! I really didn't want to drive the roads by myself!
It was a good day!

That's so awesome that the tractors came to clear the streets and Aunt Joyce's driveway! 14 inches of snow?! That's crazy!
