GETTING READY FOR SATURDAY!~

We both slept in this morning. Tony longer than me. I got up at 8:30 and realized Tony had gone down stairs. I got dressed and ready to go to the gym, went down stairs, mixed up our zip fizz and took letters out to the mailbox for my mom and Jeff. I made a fair amount of noise but Tony was still out. I had to wake him up. He got up, dressed and we were out the door to the Rec Ctr,

Today, we walked, did weights and I also did almost an hour on the elliptical.  YEAH, this is how I feel! lol  I did talk to a lady on the elliptical next to me and she said she joined some organization that had scheduled a tour of the Rec Center. She thought she knew everything about the gym so didn't want to go but she did and she found out that they are planning to expand the gym. Make more rooms for ZUMBA and other classes.  She didn't know when it was going to take place but it's exciting to know it's going to happen! she also said they may be considering building another one across town closer to Canada and Cherry Lane. We'll see what happens.

We got done with our exercise and came home. We ate some cottage cheese and mandarin oranges. Then Tony got on the phone to our Insurance Company and told them Saltzer is being sold and we needed to find new doctors. We were given some leads but it may take some time. We'll try new ones sooner or later.

Last Saturday at the temple, my friend Klynn, who is a woodworker, gave me this beautiful  Charcuterie board. We have been talking about her skills and what she makes. She said this one is called a River Board, but because of the bubbles in the epoxy, she said she can't sell it. SO, she gave it to me!  I honestly can hardly see the bubbles and I told her they look like they should be there! After all, it's called a River Board!!  I love it!!

SO, today after we'd eaten, I went upstairs to prepare a box of cards for Klynn. I realize it's not comparable to the charcuterie board she gave me but I want to give her something to show my appreciation. 

I was able to get 16 cards in it. Various types from Birthday, Fathers Day, Get Well, Sympathy, Wedding and General. I hope she likes them.  I told her that I want to buy Christmas Ornaments from her when she starts to make them. I'm excited to see them. 

Tony is working on his puzzle and I'm just blogging. Will go make some lunch soon so we can eat early. We go to bed early tonight. Watching 24 and relaxing. As if you can relax while watching 24! lol
