HAPPY DAY FOR MOM!~

Took a picture of Tony's puzzle last night before going to bed.

It's 2000 pieces so it's taking him awhile BUT, he's getting there. 

We went upstairs at 6:30 last night to get ready for bed and read our scriptures. We were in bed by 7PM but there was noise outside. Someone talking really loud. At 1st I wondered if we forgot to turn off the TV but we knew we'd done that. I could tell it was coming from outside. Then I wondered if there was a game at game at the Christian School on Orchard but I knew it was too early for games outside. Then I wondered if the neighbors had their TV up super loud. Unfortunately, it took me a while to get to sleep and Tony ended up going downstairs. It was probably quieter there. I finally dozed off and got an 83 sleep score. lol  

We got to the temple at 5:40. Got dressed for our day. It was an AWESOME DAY to serve!! I was in Sealings and the cutest young couple came in. They'd only been married for 3 years. They met at High School in California. She was converted by her husband and when they got married, he told her she could pick which temple. She picked Rome! lol  He said he asked her what she thought about Oakland?  lol  She said, "NOPE, Rome!"  So they got married in Rome!  WOW!  Pretty cool!  Then I served at New Name. A woman came in and said she needed a name. So, I got a name from the temple. We were both amazed!!  It was an oriental name and the date of birth was, and I quote, "About 850 BC".... That was totally incredible! We were both shocked by that!!  But, pretty neat!!

On our way home, we stopped at Chick Fil A for lunch. Tony had a free sandwich, so I got chicken strips. After we'd eaten, we came home and Tony changed to go to the gym and I changed and had him drop me off at Robin's to visit. She had tried to call me last night, but of course my phone was off, because I'd gone to bed.  So I called her on the way home and told her I'd come over for a visit. I was there about an hour and a half while Tony walked at the gym. Once he picked me up, we came home and got new names printed up for our temple visit this coming Thursday. Then we sat down and started watching 24 again. Got through season 3.

Got a text from Rick.  He and Wendy went to visit Mom today. They told Alexandra they were coming, but not to tell Mom so they could surprise her. AND THEY DID!!

She was glowing ! Rick said she looked just awesome!!

She sure doesn't look 101 and 1/2. 

Alexandra is such an awesome care taker!  I spoke with her on the phone last Thursday night and she is so sweet and concerned for Mom's well being! I love her!

Awhhhhh!~

We were all informed from Rick about the visit and he sent all these wonderful pictures!  Mom looks so happy! I asked Rick if she mentioned wanting to go home with them and Rick said she didn't. He said she could tell that he is no shape to take care of her again. Wendy had to help him kneel and to get back up again.  Such a beautiful day for all of us!
