| I ended up NOT adding all the chicken broth because I wanted it to be thicker than soup. After all, we were putting it on a baked potato with cheese so I didn't want it runny. |
I am sure glad I baked another 10 potatoes. Between Shelly and Mom Norton we had 40 so with mine we had 50!! We used every single one!! We fed at least 47 people and some of them came back for 2nds and some just wanted the soup. We got a lot of Thank you's and God Bless you! AND, several told us how much they loved the soup. Word's like "DELICIOUS, AWESOME, and
SO GOOD" were being spoken. Made me feel good!
The kitchen we work in.
The three of us THE THREE AMIGO'S! lol
Sure appreciate these ladies and all the sister's who made us the cupcakes. The people at the shelter were so appreciative of the meal. Glad we could provide it for them and thankful for the help I got. After, we finished, we cleaned up and the ladies helped me load the rest of the things into my car. I went home and Tony helped me put things away and we took off for the gym.
It was our day to walk but we didn't have much time. Lynn had an appointment with Dr. Hirning, at 2 o'clock. We got to the gym at 1 and started. After 1 mile, I went down to the elliptical to at least see if I could get at least 3 miles in. YAY, I did it. We left and met Lynn at Saltzer. Tony said I could go home, so I did. I read my book for an hour and then started some lunch/dinner for us. When Tony got home, we ate and watched 24 till I had to go to my RS Presidency meeting at 6:30. When it was over, I came home and we watched NCIS and then went to bed to read scriptures and get some shuteye.
