We woke up to snow on SUNDAY and we were all surprised!
When we picked up Joyce for church, I had Tony take a picture out the car window as we drove off to church! Check out the truck front window for later reference! Church was great. It was on Missionary work and the sisters were called up by the Ward Mission leader and he asked them some questions about serving. It was so touching and I gained a greater respect and love for our young sister missionaries.
After church, I came home to finish preparing dinner. They were coming to our house. Check out the snow on the truck window. It melted and rolled down.
We thought it looked like a roll of batting!! Pretty amazing!
The family came over at 1:30 and I served a pot roast, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots. Lynn brought a cabbage salad and Joyce brought an apple pie. We all had a good time.
We had ice-cream on the pie but I got our a can of whipping cream that needed to be used up.
So Jess, being the character that he is, helped out!
He is so fun and entertaining!! We visited a while and then they went back to Lynn's while Tony and I delivered cake mixes and potatoes to the sisters who are helping me with the luncheon for the Salvation Army on Tuesday. After the deliveries were made, we went to Lynn's and played games.
It was another good day!
