We got up fairly early this morning and went to the gym. Got there about 8:40. We walked and I did my 2 miles and then went down to the elliptical and then did my weights. As I was leaving, I saw Melissa on a machine. I visited with her for a bit and then went out to the car to wait for Tony. It didn't take him long.
He saw Missy too and then we went to Walmart to get milk. I also got some yarn to start another crochet project.
They had a nice pitcher on sale for $6.50 so I sent a picture of it to Jenni. She's been looking for some for the Relief Society but she isn't interested. She said she doesn't want hard plastic. SO, we bought it for ourselves. lol It came with 4 nice cups too. We then went to COSTCO and got half and half and I bought some perennials.
Came home and took a look around the yard. Trying to decide where to put the new Peonies. I also got some Begonias. Not perennials but I love them so much so plant them every year. lol
The clouds were getting dark again. It's been raining off and on since Saturday. My tree is getting pretty!
These are the flowers I bought today to plant. Not going to do it today because I have to get working on the cards for Mary. She wants them for Easter so want to finish them.
Got this one done. It's the 3rd time I've made this one for her. Had to stamp and color with my alcohol markers, on all the flowers. After I got them colored, I had to fussy cut them all. My middle finger was sure hurting when I got done.
I have a church window die so cut out windows and used a special tissue paper for the window. The embossed flowers are the ones I cut out last night.
The inside
Finally got the last one done. I was finally done at 5:45. With the time I spent cutting out, coloring, stamping, gluing etc, I bet I have a good 15 hours in them. I was so tired and ready to rest. I asked Tony if he wanted me to fix him something to eat. He wasn't hungry and said he'd just snack on some nuts. SO, I sent a picture of the cards to Mary and it all went south from there. She immediately called me and told me I needed to fix this last one, She said today is supposed to be to day. Then she said she "wasn't religious" so she didn't want the one with the church window. She said "I want a cross . I have a relationship with Jesus but I am not religious!" Then she said that John and Jesus were supposed to be capitalized and she wanted that changed. I'd had it by then. I told her that, Jesus and John WERE capitalized and it's the font. I said if they were not capitalized they would have a dot above the J. I said I wouldn't change the "today" to "to day" and I said If you don't want the cards with the window, fine but I am not going to make 6 more with a cross! I told her I would bring the two she liked to the gym tomorrow and she can pay me for them but I will not make any more cards for her. I said it is just too stressful for me and I can't please her. I said I am a card designer and I don't want to be told how to make them. She must have called me four times after to tell me again that she is NOT RELIGIOUS so she doesn't want a church window, but if I'll change it to a cross she would be happy. Again, I told her, that's OK. I'll just sell you the two you like and we'll call it good. I just don't want to make them anymore. It is just not worth my time. I have better things to do. Am I wrong?? Tony doesn't think so. lol
Now, I'm resting and I'm going to crochet!!
SO THERE!~ lol

You are NOT wrong! That's just ridiculous how picky that woman is. Good for you in calling it quits on making cards for her. It seems like every single time she's got something for you to change or to complain about. The cards look beautiful!
Thanks Deedra. I appreciate the support. I did feel bad about it and was trying to "THINK CELESTIAL" so I fixed the one card and told her I'd make an entirely new one to replace the Church window card and then I'm done....NO MORE!
