SUNDAY CELEBRATION FOR KATIE

Sunday,  we went to church and it was a wonderful Sacrament meeting. Kevin and Jan Poulson spoke. They both did fabulous!! Kevin was just released as Elder's Quorum President and made a High Councilmen. After church, we came home and got ready to go to Joyces for dinner. I made a raspberry compote and Joyce made crepes. We also had fruit. It was so good!

When I came home, I got a picture of my one Daffodil that has bloomed. I have a lot of buds and I hope they will all open. 

My Peonies are coming up and that's exciting! 

And it won't be long and the cherry tree will be in full Pink Bloom! We came back to our house after eating and we watched

 COME FOLLOW UP. 

While watching, I was working on cards for Mary's order. I colored with alcohol markers a ton of roses and cut them out by hand. I worked on them till we went to the Floyds .

We gave her a bracelet, some makeup and a canvas for her to paint on. She is artistic. Wish she'd use the canvas all the time instead of her body to do her art work on.

Just glad she is  happy to be home and is participating with the family.

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY KATELYNN!

When we got home, I worked on the flowers again. I got them all cut out before bed. I also had stamped and used Versa Mark and embossing powder on other flowers that I had to cut out by hand for another card I was making for Mary. We went to bed late.
