SUNDAY MONDAY ALL ROLLED INTO ONE.....POST LOL!~

Yesterday, we had a lovely day at church on Sunday. It was High Council Day and actually, both of them gave really good talks.  We had a great Sunday School lesson as well. Paige Boyer is an excellent teacher! Since Joyce had gone to Mountain home with Ty and Cindy, I decided to invite Carol Ross over for dinner with Lynn, Tony and me. I made corned beef and cabbage (which I've never made before) and I had plenty! She said she would love to come over. I told her to come at 1 o'clock.  I got the cabbage in the Dutch oven when I got home and set the table. I decided to leave on my church clothes because I planned on taking the ladies to the General Relief Society Broadcast in the evening.

Carol showed up about 12;55. She had this beautiful Alabaster Box  wrapped up in a dishcloth that she knitted. She said,
"THIS IS FOR YOU!"
It was so sweet of her. I sure didn't expect anything.

She told me the story of the stone inside the box. It is from Jerusalem.  It  is the shape of  a kidney bean and is white and very smooth.  Her mother got it when she was there and she wanted me to have it. I put it on my little shelf with the oil vile made from the wood of a olive tree in Jerusalem (that Rick gave to Tony)
I LOVE IT!~

After we'd eaten, we played games. Golf 1st. Then Carol taught us a game called "TRASH" and it was easy and fun too! Then we played Mexican Train until it was time to go to the meeting.

It was fun to have her over. She needs friends so I felt inspired to have her over. She wants me to go with her to the yarn shop sometime to learn some new things. We'll see. lol

At 6:20, we left for the Stake House. I drove Lynn's LEXIS because she was parked right behind me. WOW!!  I loved driving it. What a nice car!! The devotional was awesome. We heard from the RS General Presidency and also President Nelson (the Prophet) It was such a great meeting and after they all spoke, there was a testimony meeting held. It was so nice and fun to hear from other Sister's in our Stake. Afterwards, they served cupcakes and cups of fresh fruit. We saw Tammy and I saw a couple of Sisters I work with at the temple. FUN EVENING! I drove the ladies back to my house and then they drove home. We had Cindy and Ty come over and we watched TIM HAWKINS again on YOU TUBE for an hour. We laughed our heads off. Then they went back to Joyce's and we went to bed.  It was a good day!
****************************************

We got up around 9am this morning. Tried to sleep in longer because we went to bed after midnight but when it gets light out, it's hard to stay in bed. (Probably a good thing)  Tony went to the gym but I didn't want to go.
HA HA.....Not really,
I had too much to do at home and I knew I'd get a good workout doing what I had to here. I took my bed apart and washed my sheets and bedding as well as a few clothes. I vacuumed and dusted and cleaned the kitchen floor. I cleaned toilets and got the bed put back together again. Then I went outside. It was beautiful out! 72 degrees! I have been putting off my yard work and decided I could put it off

NO LONGER!~  I went through all my flower pots and cleaned out last years dead stuff and pulled weeds. I can't believe how good the weeds are growing. lol

I blew out all the old leaves and twigs in the front yard and mowed them up. Tony got home and he got out all his saws etc and started cutting out frames.

I moved to the back yard and started cutting back my bushes.

Tony hard at it. He'll stain tomorrow and I'll get the back yard finished.

After, getting the bushes done, my wrist was killing me as well as my thumb.. Enough for today! I got my exercise day and also my 10,000 steps plus!

And things are looking a little better. Well, it will look a lot better once the leaves and blossoms pop out. AND, it won't be long as their are buds all over them.

Looks better except for the low growing plants in the middle. I'll pull all the dead stuff out of them tomorrow.

JUST HAPPY TO HAVE IT DONE!
We got a conference call with Stillman, Michele and Alex! It was awesome to see him. He's doing great!
I got a text from Jeff saying Paxson got his card from me today and he is excited to spend his $10 dollars on Baseball and Football cards! lol Glad I could oblige!
