YARD DONE....WELL TILL THINGS START GROWING. lol

I got my Afghan done last week but forgot to post it.  It's not perfect but I like the stitch and I'll do better next time.
It was our walk day at the gym so we called Joyce & Lynn to see if they wanted to go. They did. Lynn had to be home by 11 because someone was coming to tune her piano but we told her it wouldn't be a problem. So, we picked them up and went to the gym. I was so stiff and sore from the yard work yesterday, that I got on the elliptical 1st thing and rode my 5 miles so I could loosen up a bit. Then I went up and walked. I got about 6 miles total with both.  We dropped the ladies off and came home and ate a bowl of cereal and then we both went out doors to finish up what we started yesterday. I walked over to Joyce's and gave her some left over corned beef and cabbage. I took a picture of the front yard from her yard. It looks so much better than it did yesterday morning. lol

I will soon have yellow daffodils blooming.

I went to the back yard with the mower, a rake, and my little bench with tools in the pockets. I had to clean up the plants that I got from Lynn years ago. I used to like them but they are springing up all over the flower bed and,
I DON'T LIKE THEM THAT MUCH!!
lol  I started cleaning out the old dead stuff. I even dug some up that had transplanted themselves. Get them while they are young and not established to huge plants.

Tony finished cutting the frames for the puzzle pictures. Tammy and the 4 kids came over last night and she brought the two that he needed to frame. He's got 6 frames to make.

I was hard at it in the flower bed.

This is what they look like before cleaning out all the dead stuff.

And this is them after. They do look better when they are grown and mature. It won't take long as they have a fair amount of green on them already. I have four Quintz bushes as well. I got the two big ones cut back yesterday and the two small ones this morning.

Looking cleaner for sure.

I mowed the back yard and then I called it quits. Tony is getting his boards ready to sand and he'll do the sanding tomorrow. I have a RS meeting tonight and I needed to rest. We are going to go to the store as soon as Tony's ready to buy some things for tomorrow's dinner with the Missionary Sisters and Sabrina and her friend.
I'M POOPED!
