TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY, BUSY TEMPLE DAYS!~

Tuesday, we started out our day with walking at the rec center. We picked up Lynn and Joyce and took them with us. They like to go on the days when we're not there for 3 hours!  lol After dropping them off back at home, Tony and I went to pick up a few things and then home to clean up. We were subbing for the Bunn's at the temple on the night shift! We had to be there at 3:30 PM.
:
It hadn't rained YET, but it was threatening! We went in, dressed and started at 4PM. It was awesome! I was up at the recommend desk for my 2nd post and Sister Vanderlinden (from my old ward when we lived on Netherland) was in the front foyer just in front of the recommend desk and it was a rather quiet evening so she and I had a lovely visit. Catching up on our families and wards, deaths etc.  She is just as sweet as she ever was. So happy to see her.  Tony had a nice visit with a brother who used to be in the ward long before I came along. AND, I got to see my friend Meegan Anderson as well.

Since we were subbing, they let us go at 8PM. I got out to the car before Tony and it was raining pretty good!  When we left to come home, we got to Nampa and it was dry. That's just how the weather works here in Idaho! lol We watched THE VOICE for an hour and then went to bed, as we knew we had to get up early for our temple day with the little ladies.

We signed up for the 10 am session so we left at 8:50. We each did an endowment at 10am and then we went to Sealings for 2 hours.

We were very successful and managed to get 64 sealings done and 4 endowments. Yesterday, Tony was able to do 14 Initiatory last night. (I wasn't able to but we will stay late on Saturday and I can do 5 and Tony will do 5. Maybe more!  The men are usually more able to do more as they aren't as busy as the women.
WE LOVE IT!~

After our sessions were over, I walked out 1st and took some pictures. It was extremely cold and windy today so I didn't ask the little ladies to pose for a picture. Deedra called us on the way home and asked if we could go to her kid's doctor's office and pick up their medical papers. They were having trouble faxing them so we immediately dropped by the office and picked them up. Deedra will be here in a week and a half and can pick them up then.

Then we went to ARBY'S and got a sandwich, curly fries and a drink. Joyce is ALWAYS FREEZING so she picked a table in the sun. I seriously need to eat like her but CAN'T!!  lol She ate half of her sandwich and a couple of fries and a warm glass of water!! Well, as warm as they could get it! lol

When we finished eating, we took the ladies home and we went home, changed and went to the gym. Walk it off! lol Brother Slover came over after we got home and Tony helped him find subs. He and his wife are going to Hawaii.  Wouldn't that be nice!
I worked on my Afghan this evening. It's getting bigger and I have 2 skeins left till I'm done! It's not perfect but OH WELL!!

I had a couple of bananas to use up so made some Banana nut bread. It looked great when I took it out and when I went back to take it out of the pan after it coo\led....it fell in the middle! lol Guess we'll definitely be toasting this when we eat it!! Well, another couple of days gone. Time for bed and our scripture reading.
