Tony and I got up this morning and called both ladies to see if they wanted to go walk with us at the gym. Joyce did so we picked her, but Lynn had TERMINIX coming to get rid of her ants so she said she'd stay home. We just walked today so we weren't there super long. I did walk 2 miles and rode for 5. We came home and got ready to go to THE ELECTRICIANS luncheon. Tony had to run to his mom's to help her with insurance problem. He found out that she has been driving a year and a half without her car registration renewed. lol That's what happens when ya get old! lol
I found out how to download one of the songs we are singing on Easter. I printed it and listened to it on You Tube a few times but the Alto part isn't sung on the video so I still need help with that. Joyce said I could go over and play it on her electric piano. Should do it but we haven't had a chance yet.
Tony repainted our locks when he got home. They were getting really chipped up. It's easy to recognize our lockers when we're at the gym so we like to keep them shiny and bright....RED! lol
The luncheon was held at GOLDEN CORAL today! Not my favorite place to eat! As a matter of fact, I wouldn't go there if I was picking!! BUT, Deborah tries to pick places that will reserve a place for a big group. Unfortunately, they do here!
We suggested Smokey Mountain Pizza sometime, but she didn't seem all that interested. Next month, we are going for breakfast at the SUNRISE CAFE in Caldwell. I've heard that is good so I hope so. None the less, we came home after eating and the longer I sit here at home, the worse I feel. Lunch is not sitting well. Tony went back to his mom's for some more help with her bill problems. I sat and crocheted and tried to settle my stomach.
Tony came home and shot a picture of me before starting to polish shoes.
My Afghan is getting a pretty good size. I like it! I got a text from the Sister's and they wanted to know if I could meet at 6 tonight with them and a lady they are teaching. I had to pass this time. I just don't feel good enough to go out again.
Tony started to polish several of his shoes so I asked if he'd do my Dansko's I was wearing today. He did ! Bless his heart!
He's a keeper!!
Just gonna rest the remainder of the day. I have the SISTER's coming on the 20th for dinner with 2 gals who are taking lesson's from them so I don't feel guilty about not going tonight. Sometimes ya just have to say no. Know your limitations.
