BUSY FRIDAY, WITH LITTLE SLEEP!~

I had a horrible night last night. I blame it on the Mexican dinner I ate yesterday. I just couldn't settle down. I had Paul Cardall playing for 2 hours and when he finished and I was still wide awake, I decided to go downstairs and read my book! I was up till 2am reading and finally got sleepy. We got up early to mow lawns as we are leaving on Monday (after our dr. appointments) to head to McCall for 2 nights. We didn't want to wait till Wednesday or Thursday of next week to mow. At the rate it's growing, we'd probably have to bale it! lol  Tony's sister Deb and her two daughter's and son in law are coming to town this evening. They wanted us all to go to McCall for a few days and rent a cabin and just hang out. 1st Alivia wanted to rent the old cabin as it is being used as an air b& b. However, when we saw the price, we said NO WAY!! So they got another cabin but it is only big enough for them and gramma Lynn. I told Tony we didn't need to go. Afterall, we'll see them tomorrow and Sunday and then the following Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Deb sais they plan to go home on Saturday at some point.. BUT, Deb wanted us to go so Tony rented a motel for two nights for the 2 of us. I have to be back Thursday for my infusion so we'll come home Wednesday at some point.  .....While I was mowing the backyard and Tony was at Joyce's house mowing, a repairman came to look at our garage door. Luckily, Tony saw him and let him in. It didn't take him long and with a few adjustments, the door is working wonderfully! We were worried we might have to get a new motor. He wasn't here long. I finished mowing and did a little weeding.

These flowers in my garden are so interesting. I wish I knew what they were called. If anyone knows, I'd be interested in finding out.

I have ONE HUGE Marigold plant that is dead center in the row of flowers! I have no idea where it came from but it could have been in the pack of seeds that I got from Silver Sisters last year. That's where the interesting flower above came from! Just look how small the other Marigolds are below it! lol  I will not keep the seeds from it this fall because as far as I'm concerned, it's too tall!

Once I finished my work in the yard, I came in and wrote a letter to my mom so I could beat the mailman. Then Tony came home from his mom's and said her water was running on the lawn so he would have to wait till after the gym to mow her yard. I was making Oatmeal chocolate no-bakes, so as soon as I set them on the parchment paper to cool, we headed to the gym, It was walk, weights and elliptical so we were there about two and a half hours. When we got home, I got my laundry started and then went to Joyce's to pick her blackberries. I didn't get a lot but they are still coming on. I'll get more next week. They make good smoothies.

They are a messy berry though, and my hands were all stained when I finished. I got a card ready for Anna's birthday and got her cookies put in containers. 

We are stopping by the hospital tomorrow on our way home from the Temple. Kodi has been taken out of ICU and is in a different room. She said he was throwing up all night. Poor kid. This is gonna be so tough on him as his mind is not that of a 19 year old.  Anyway, I packaged things up and now Tony and I are going to Wendy's for lunch. He takes pity on me when life is so busy!  

We went to Wendy's and I ate a taco salad and he had a burger. We both got a chocolate frosty but I only ate a 1/4 of mine and gave the rest to Tony. He didn't complain. We came home and he got out an ice-cream sandwich and again, I ate 2 bites and then gave it to him. He ate his, mine and got out another one. lol The man love's his ice-cream. We relaxed for an hour and watched an episode of 

WHEN CALLS THE HEART and then I cut his hair.  Then I started the last load of laundry and came up and showered and got ready for bed. I am tired and hope I sleep good tonight!
