I'M GLAD I LISTENED!~

Peggy and I wanted to do our ministering before she goes under the knife for her shoulder surgery! SO, I called our ladies and made appointments. I got ahold of three of them but was not able to get a response from Robin. I text her on Monday night, as well as the others. Since I didn't hear from her, I tried calling her before going to bed. No answer. We went to the gym on Tuesday and after I finished walking, I sent her another text. Later in the afternoon, I called her again. Still no answer so Tony and I drove to her home. Her car was in the carport so while Tony waited in the car, I knocked on her door....and knocked louder a 2nd and 3rd time! When I got no answer, I called Jenni and asked if she had heard from Robin. She hadn't. I told her what was going on and she suggested I talk to her neighbor across the street. I did and he said he hadn't seen her for a few days. He told me to knock on her back door and also her bedroom window. I did just that. No response. Then her neighbor came back with his cane. He banged on her window and all of a sudden, I see a hand. Hallelujah!  She was alive!! I was beginning to wonder. I was about to call the police and have a wellness check done. I walked around to her door and she was there and let me in. I told her how worried I was about her and that I was about to call the police. She said she had been really sick for three days. Her phone was dead so she didn't get any of my texts or calls. She was dehydrated and so Tony and I went to Winco and bought a case of Power Aid for her. I have called her everyday since and  today I brought her some ham and quiche. She is still not out of the woods but is getting better. So glad I listened to the Spirit.  She didn't want Peggy and I to come on Wednesday when we were visiting the others but I have been checking on her anyway.

We did go to see Wendy and she showed us the gourd bowls she has been working on!
THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!!

She put pine needling on the bottom of this one.

This was my favorite! It's got the needling around the top. The inside designs are made from broken eggshells.

Her brother makes a type of gourd with a drum base. He cuts off the bottom of the gourd (thats where she gets her bowls) and it has a long spring of wire. It makes a thundering sound. It was pretty cool. Anyway, she has made several of them and will be doing a craft fair with him sometime soon.
After we left Wendy, we went to see the Taylor sisters and had a nice visit with them. We gave all our ladies an Amaryllis and a can of almond roca for the holidays. It was a nice visit with all the ladies but a most reassuring with Robin.
