OLD FRIENDS!~

Tony and I took Lynn and Joyce to the Boise Temple today and we just did two Endowment Sessions because we had to get home to prepare for our friends who were coming to dinner and games. We came home and told Lynn and Joyce they would have to go to lunch by themselves. I came in and changed and made 2 quiches' and cut up fruit and set the table. Our friends (the Gleason's) moved to California a couple of years ago. They came to town to help a friend who is sick and we set up a night to get together. The Gleason's showed up 1st and the Bostrom's shortly thereafter.  Denise brought some ham and Jorjette brought a pistachio dessert that was delicious. We had a great time visiting, eating and playing GOLF! Unfortunately, I neglected to get a picture of Bostrom's and they left early! The Gleason's  stayed till a little after 10. It was so good to see them again. It's been too long!

I got a picture of the Gleason's.
John and Denise!

Denise made this for us for Christmas. She is extremely talented!! It's called sublimation. I don't understand it but it is gorgeous. It was put on a 5 by 7 piece of slate and it has a little stand to seat it on.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!
We went to bed after they left but it was a nice evening.

We got up today to a beautiful morning. We had to go to see our Insurance man. On the way over, we stopped by Scott & Jills so I could drop her money off from the last Mary Kay order as well as the money for tickets to Scotlyn's Christmas concert. Then we went to the Insurance guy and then to the gym.We walked (and I did elliptical) and we both did weights. Came home and I brought lunch to Lynn & Joyce and then while Tony was mowing Lynn's lawn for the last time, I went to bring food to Robin. I stayed with her for a couple of hours and visited. When Tony finished, he called me and we came home. Warmed us up some lunch and then we relaxed & watched TV and I crocheted. He worked on Temple names and now we are headed to bed. We finished reading "Prophets See Around Corner's" and now we are going to start on the last volume of "SAINTS" that we picked up yesterday at Deseret Book.
