NEW YEAR'S IS ALMOST HERE!~

Since Christmas, I have been trying to catch up on a few things. I had to prepare something for Sunday Relief Society! We thought we were going to have a 5th Sunday activity but the Bishop decided that since we missed a Sunday because of our Christmas program, we would have RS & Priesthood. Tony is in charge of the Priesthood lessons and I am in charge of the RS lessons. (well, lets say teachers)  We are supposed to get the brother or sister to teach the lesson. I decided that I would assign some sisters to tell about a Memorable Christmas. One that had special meaning to them. Tony chose to do it on the Priesthood and he bought some Olive oil and filled small bottles and the men were taught how to consecrate it. Klynn and I both brought cookies.

Both of our classes turned out really well. We even had enough cookies to invite the men in afterwards and get some too. It was a fun day! Also the Nicolson's both spoke in Sacrament meeting and they both spoke on our covenants. They did such a great job and it was a beautiful reminder of staying on the covenant path.

I can't help but post my beautiful Amaryllis! It has bloomed and formed so many blossoms.

I am thinking I would like one every Christmas. lol

Chris sent me a text the day after Christmas apologizing that he hadn't  reached out to me on Christmas. He said it was really different not having any kids as both of Norma's were with their dad and both of his were with their mom. He said it was just the 2 of them. Well I know they have about 5 dogs and I saw this on FB so I sent a picture of it to him.

He laughed and said he actually bought this for Norma for Christmas!  LOL  minus the dogs!
I have been taking care of the Jarrett's cat. Two more days!! We pick the Jarretts up at the airport on Tuesday. I think the cat is a sweetheart and I don't mind going over to empty the litter box and feed her but it does take some time out of my day. lol I have been working on my RS lesson that I have to give on 12th. I also have been trying to get a sub for Saturday the 4th because we want to go to Kennewick for Alice's baptism. Boy, it was HARD!~  I called and called and called!!  I'll bet I asked 10 ladies. I finally got one yesterday.  Then this morning at breakfast, I got a text from another sister saying she could do it. lol I told her I didn't need her now.

Today after church, Stillman and Michelle came over. They are here to drop their kids off with Michelle's sister while they fly down to Arizona to the Fiesta Bowl.

We had a good visit. Bridger was fascinated with my shells. I gave him some and also some for Keaton. He was still sick from Christmas and they didn't want to bring him over.

It was nice to have them come visit. Mom was here as well. After they left to head back to Bridgit's, we finished our "COME FOLLOW UP" (which we started after dinner) then at 3:45, Mom went home and I went to take care of the cat. Tony had a Priesthood meeting at 4 and the men were here when I got home. I came to the backroom and fell asleep while the men had their meeting in the kitchen. Now, we are chilling and watching JAG!
