CHRISTMAS 2024

May I just say that I am so grateful for my husband!! He helped me SO much on Christmas morning in preparation for dinner. While I was peeling potatoes, he extended the table and even set it!!
 WHAT A MAN!~

We were expecting 11 guests and it would be 13 with the two of us!!

After opening OUR gifts, Tony got the gifts for the kids and put them under the tree.

I love that my tree changes colors.

Tony showing off his gifts.

And me showing off mine! I'm so excited about the last book in the Michael Vey series and my silicone cup cake pans. I got three of them. I got a new Diamond puzzle from my friend Tammy. It is of the Nativity. I can't wait to get my Christmas truck done so I can start on it. Another wall decor for next year! lol

Our company showed up around three fifteen. After looking at my shell collection and giving me a bad time about them  (What are you going to do with all those) lol  we sat down to eat! We had the whole traditional Christmas dinner: Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked squash and green bean casserole, a relish tray and Jill made the Raspberry pretzel salad. It was all delicious if I do say so myself!!  We had pumpkin pie for dessert. It was so fun to sit around the table together and visit!! Again, my hubby was a champ as he cleared the table while we talked and filled the did washer.
WHAT A MAN!~

We then went to the family room and I got some pictures and we exchanged gifts.  I filled some boxes with my homemade cards for the four girls. I figured with the price of cards now, I was saving them some money!!

We gave Traci some small pans and some Mickey Mouse clips for sealing bags that have been opened.

The boys just got a bag of goodies and I gave Mary a jar of Cinnamon Butter that I'd made.

And I gave Scott and Jill a Tiny SLC Temple that lit up and played the song "I LOVE TO SEE THE TEMPLE"

Baby Lincoln had fallen asleep and his daddy was good to hold him . He's a good daddy! I'm so happy the three of them came.

I was so happy to see Sophia and Isabel. I hadn't seen either of them for quite some time. I hadn't seen Traci since October, so it was great to have them on Christmas!!

Then I got a family picture of Scott & Jill's family. Including Jill's mother, Mary!

And one of their family minus Mary!!

Me & Tony with Traci, Sophia and Isabel!

And me & Tony with Scott & Jill's family! I look short cuz I was kneeling down a bit and then I see how tall Mostyn and Hawkins are and thought "I guess I didn't need to kneel down." lol

Lincoln woke up so when they were getting ready to leave, I was able to get some pictures of them. He's getting so chunky!

Such a little doll! We had such a nice day with everyone who came. After they all left, Tony and I finished cleaning up the kitchen and putting all the chairs away. Then we settled down to relax.  BUT, not for long cuz I had to go out and take care of Katie Kat!

She was happy to see me! The lights and music had gone off  in the house, so she doesn't get lonely.  She loves to be petted and talked to, which I do after cleaning her litter box and making sure she has enough food and water. I always leave her the treats the Jarretts left for her, and she won't eat them till I'm gone.  She wants to have her play time!! It was a wonderful day!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO US!~
