SATURDAY TEMPLE SHIFT & FUN EVENING

It was a wet temple day! It rained all last night and it was still coming down when we left for the temple. It was a wonderful day and I got to serve in the baptistry today. They are starting to train us and I was lucky enough to get a chance today. I loved it.  After our shift, we came home, dropped Lubov off at her apartment and then came in and changed. I made us a light lunch and then we watched RED ONE
It was pretty cute. We enjoyed it and got a good laugh out of it.
Then I crocheted and Tony worked on Temple cards and around 5 Deedra came over. They had come to town for an appointment for Garrett and The Butterfield Christmas party which will be on Sunday night. She came alone as she had taken all the kids to friends homes to play and catch up. Curtis stayed and visited with his mom and dad. It was good to see Deedra and catch up. After she left, we went to pick up Klynn Miller and go to the Bostrom's Christmas party. It was so fun to see old friends and make some new ones.

Everyone brought some goodies and we all ate 1st.

It was good and there was quite a variety of food.

Fun to see the Boyer's who used to be in our ward but have moved.

After eating, we played the gift game. Lamont drew names and the 1st one went and then the gifts could be taken if the next to play wanted it. It could only be stollen 3 times and on the 3rd steal, it was frozen.

Klynn's gift was a game and a beautiful blanket. It was the 1st to be picked and the gal that was 1st was able to steal it back at the very end. It was fun and we all went away full..... not so much with the gift we wanted but it was fun. I'll be taking our gift back next year. A head scratcher and some potholders and a scarf that would fit a two year old. lol Good Times!
