SUNDAY /MONDAY.....STILL BUSY!

Sunday was a busy day....what am I saying??  Seems like
EVERY DAY is busy this month!! We had church and then choir practice afterwards.

We came home and I made mashed potatoes because Lynn said she was going to have turkey that she'd frozen from Thanksgiving so I made potatoes....2 kinds. Mashed & sweet!

She made a chili out of it. lol  anyway,  some put the chil on the potatoes and some of us ate it separate.

It's so fun to eat with these ladies!!~  Ya never know what to expect.

After dinner, Lynn, Joyce and I played some GOLF!  I was winning like crazy!! Never fails, when we don't keep score, I win!! When we keep scores, I lose! lol   Tony took a nap. While he napped, I gave Lynn her Christmas gift. I didn't want Tony to see her open it because I got him a Temple card holder as well. I got one for myself too. They are so cool!! Love mine! Already using it.

At 4 in the afternoon, we went to Tammy's to celebrate Anna's birthday. It's actually the 19th but we celebrated it today.

She made her own cakes and decorated them as the earth and the planets. They tasted really good!  At 5:30, we left to pick up Sister Manning and we all went to the Stake Center for a special CHRISTMAS FIRESIDE, that our choir was singing in. It was really good and there was a lot of participation from all wards. We came home and hit the sack as we were very tired!

We got up Monday morning and it was snowing. We went to the gym and it just got worse. However, when we went home, it had stopped and was raining.  By later that day, it was nearly all gone.

About 3 in the afternoon, the Butterfields stopped by the house with a Christmas gift before they headed home. They had been in town for Garrett's orthodontist appointment . He got his braces off and he is so excited!! The girls gave Grandpa a Bananarama game and a chocolate orange.

I got a picture of them all before they headed home.
Tony and I relaxed a little bit before bed and then did our reading. We finished the Book of Mormon again. Sure love that book. Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It was written for our day and boy do we need it.  Monday, we went to the gym and I was able to give my gifts to Rena and Linda but Pat didn't come because of the snow. Can't say I blame her. I probably wouldn't have driven myself. Glad I got Tony to chauffeur me around. lol

Monday night, we went to Scotlyn's Christmas Concert!
IT WAS FABULOUS!! Ridgeview has a new choir director. She's been in a year and WOW!! She did a fabulous job!! Got this picture after the concert of Claire & Scotlyn.

Porter brought her flowers!
They make such a sweet couple!

Scotlyn with her friends. Not sure the name of the one on the left but Gracie Hodges is on the right. Cute girls for sure!!
AND GOOD GIRLS!
It was such a busy few days.
