OLD MADE NEW

When I was working and was walking home from work, I would pass this house on Davis. It was a disaster and I always thought it would make a cool Halloween Spook House. 

However, someone bought it and started fixing it up. Tore out the big tree and did a lot of work to the old place!!

It has completely changed and is a beautiful place now. Oh what I'd give to see the inside. He build a couple of shops on the back of the property and put up a beautiful vinyl fence. It is really a nice place now. Just goes to show that old can become new. A great analogy for us. No matter how low we sink, we can become new and clean through the Atonement of Christ!

I worked on cards on the weekend. Just because....

Wanted to mess around with some new dies I got.

Still working on this one. But I have a couple of kids with Bull dogs and I thought it will come in handy.  

Thursday, we went to the temple with Lynn and Joyce and afterwards, we rushed to CHICK FIL A to eat because Tony had a chiropractor appointment at 3:20.   We got out around 2, changed and got to the restaurant around 2:30. Ate and were out by 10 to 3. Came home, dropped Tony off and then I drove Lynn home and then came back to Joyce's. Tony was gone by then. It worked out nicely. I had some time to read my book before he got home and turned on the TV. It was nice & relaxing.  Thursday night, Garrett and Deedra came to town for a checkup for Garrett at his orthodontist. They stopped at our house about 8:45, before going to Lynn's for the night. Garrett put together a Mrs. Potato Head. lol I don't think I've had kids in the toys for a long time.

After a nice visit, they left to go to Lynn's. We headed to bed. I got up at 7 to go to the hospital for lab work as I need them before I see my kidney doctor next week. I thought because I was early, I would get in and out in a hurry......not so. The computer's had gone down so they were backed up. I didn't get done till 8:30. When I finished, we went to the gym to work out. Pat didn't come this morning so I walked by myself till Carol came. I got to see Rena but she isn't walking anymore because her hip is just too sore. She doesn't get her hip replacement till May. I feel so sorry for her. When we left, we called Deedra and they were done with Garrett's appointment. We went home and cleaned up and then went to Lynn's.

Lynn and Deedra had been working on a puzzle so Tony joined in. I brought my book to read because I am not a puzzle person. We went to eat and then I got a picture of them when we got back and they finished it.

We went to THAILAND EXPRESS for lunch. 

I love that place. Always such a good place to eat.  Like I said, when we got back, the three of them finished the puzzle while I read and Garrett worked on his laptop. Then Deedra taught us a new game called BANK. It was fun. We played a couple of rounds and then at 4, she and Garrett took off for home. We came home and showered and I will be going to bed in 2 hours. I will be driving to the temple by myself tomorrow morning. Tony has meetings to go to for church and Lubov said she won't be going either because she is cooking for a RUSSIAN Party she is going to.  It's been a good few days.
