THE LAST FIVE DAYS ~

Friday, I wanted to finish Lincoln's bear!! I was struggling with the linen blanket fabric as it frays easily and was hard putting it together with the polyester fabric.

I wasn't very pleased with him but it's done and I don't have to worry about it anymore. It is what it is.

Saturday, we worked our Temple shift and it was a nice day. I love serving in the temple and leaving all my troubles outside. I needed the peace I feel when I'm in The House of The Lord. When we got home, Lubov said she wanted to take us to lunch but because it was Fast Sunday tomorrow, we decided to do it next week. She had Tony do the work for her nephew and she thinks she needs to take us to lunch to repay him. (Which she does not...Tony was happy to do it) I took pictures of my daffodils when I got home.

They are coming up so well and I see I will definitely need to dig them up this fall and thin them. They are thick!! Some even have small buds on them,  ALREADY!! Saturday night, the Sister Missionaries came over to our house to teach Yeti. He walked to our house and beat the Sisters. We had a good lesson on the Word of Wisdom. Yeti has given up alcohol and drugs. The Sister's challenged him to give up coffee and he said he would do it. I know he will. He has come a long way and he is very determined to do what is asked of him. His testimony is strong and he has a wonderful spirit about him. We sure like him and love to be in lessons with him. Tony drove him home after the Sister's left. Sunday was Fast & Testimony meeting. Yeti is now sitting with us at church and he has bore his testimony the past two months, AND he's not even baptized yet. He is going to be a great member. we had dinner at Lynn's after church. She cooked shrimp, I brought Mac & cheese and Joyce brought a tossed salad. We played cards after dinner and at 3:30, we came home because Tony was having a meeting at 4. I just went to my craft room and cut out some new die's I recently got. After Tony's meeting, we watched some Easter specials on You Tube and then went back to NCIS till bed time.

Monday, we got up and went to the gym. It was our walk & weight day. My friend Pat didn't make it, but I did walk with Carol and then Rena for a bit. Got in my 4 miles done and then hit the weights.  When we got home, I got all my laundry taken downstairs and I laid out the die cuts on this card to see how it looked.  I've only put one card together so far but will do the rest later. I had too much to do. I went down and started my laundry. I did 4 loads of laundry and glued the card together in between loads.  

This came up on my phone on Monday. We have been working in the Meridian Temple 5 years now and had been at the Boise Temple for 2. I love to be in the Temple and find so much peace when I am there. I am learning more about my Savior, Jesus Christ, everytime I go. I love Him so much. I finally got my Christmas village taken down. About time as it is now March! lol

I started with all the trees (and there are a lot) and then when I started on the houses, Tony stood on the floor and took them from me so I didn't have to keep climbing down from the ladder and back up again. It took me a while but not near as long as putting it up. I sure enjoyed it this year and I enjoyed the lights through the dark months.

Got the tub of items from the back room and got them all put back up. I know, I really need to keep downsizing but I have been trying! lol The last thing I put up was the 3 glass lights that we own and I can turn them on now. I like the light!

I got a text from Claire while I was re-doing the shelf. She evidently went to Scott & Jill's and picked up the bear. She said she LOVE'S it and so does Lincoln. That made me happy!  I got all my laundry done and some house cleaning. I was going to make banana muffins but just ran out of time. We relaxed when it was later and I folded and put away the laundry while we watched TV.

THE VOICE was on and we love that show.  We went to bed at nine, read our scriptures and slept. We took Joyce & Lynn to the rec center today as they like to go when we just walk. Had a good visit with Pat, Carol and Rena. Came home and Tony went to a doctor appointment to see if he is going to have to wear a machine at night so he can sleep better. Poor guy!

I got the muffin's mixed up...........

And baked. I used my new silicone muffin pans that I got for Christmas. I sure like them. I'd like to get more silicone pans. They are pretty cool. We are subbing for the Bunn's this afternoon at the temple. It's the night shift so it will be fun. Looking forward to it. Been pretty depressed lately and it always makes me feel better to serve in the temple. 

It was warm when we got there but it was kinda cloudy. We started at 4 and were out by 8 o'clock.

I walked out back as I was waiting for Tony and got a picture of the temple with the reflection in the pond. So Pretty!!

Home now and getting ready for bed. It was good to sub.
