REPAIR DAY

We were up by 7 and at the gym at 7:30. Pat had only done one lap!!  So we had a great visit and a good 4 mile walk together.

When we got home, I made sour dough pancakes for breakfast  with the discard sourdough, and then Tony left to price wood etc for our fence repair.  I got busy on laundry and did four loads.  When Tony got home, he started repairing our US Flag. It had caught in the lilac tree and got ripped. He did that while I folded clean clothes and put them away. At 3 o'clock, I warmed us up some ribs, mac & cheese & funeral potatoes for lunch. Then he went out to start on the fence repair.

Patrick helped him for a while and then went in to go to sleep before his night shift at COSTCO.
I mowed the front and back lawn and pulled a few weeds.

Then I came in and made a potato salad for Wednesday. We feed the Sister Missionaries and Yeti again. I thought I'd make Sloppy Joes and have potato salad. I had potatoes that had sprouted and needed to be used up.  Besides, I like it better when it sits a couple of days and absorbs the taste of the ingredients.

Then I made some blueberry muffins with the few blueberries I had left. We each had one and they were good. Kinda ugly but they tasted good. lol  I am beat and gonna take a shower. Tony will be in soon. He's far from done but it's one of those jobs that will take a few days to complete. Gonna relax the rest of the evening.
