THE WEEKEND!~

We had to be early on Saturday morning so I told Lubov the night before. Hate to let her know so late but we just found our on Friday ourselves. ANYWAY, we actually picked her up a little before 5am at her apartment. She usually walks across the street to our house. 1st time we ever beat her. lol We had a lovely day serving.

Afterwards, Lubov kept trying to take a selfie of herself by the flowers and she couldn't find her camera button on her phone as the sun was so bright. I told her I'd take a picture of her with mine, and send it to her. She sat by the flowers but couldn't look at me as the sun was too bright. lol

The grounds are gorgeous right now.
Just love all the flowering trees.  When we got home, we dropped lubov off at home and then we changed our clothes. We had to go buy milk and grapes so we 1st went to CHICK FIL A for lunch. The traffic is getting horrendous in Nampa anymore. ESPECIALLY around the Marketplace area on a Saturday!! It took us a while to get to the stores we needed to go to. We were glad to go home to rest,
There was a delivery on the porch when we got back home and it was the book for our May book club. I got one and Lynn and Joyce got one to share. I started reading and finished it today (Sunday) Now I can get back to my Fire & Steel series. lol Saturday night, we had Yeti and the Sisters over for a discussion at 8. The Missionaries just had transfers so we still have Sister Shephard and a new sister by the name of Sister Henrichsen. It was fun and we had cookies and milk afterwards. (Yeti's suggestion)

Sunday morning, we got up and drove to Parma at 8am for the Hulberts Farewell. They are a couple we serve with in the Temple and they are leaving to go on a mission in Ghana Africa. They gave really good talks and their family (it's huge) sang Called To Serve. Afterwards, we drove out to their home and had a nice luncheon.

It was a little breezy and when we 1st got there, we all helped her put table clothes and plants on the tables.

They have seven children  (all married) and lots of grandchildren. Beautiful property with a cute little home. A lot of the people we serve with on Saturday's were there as well as friends from the community and church.

We saw old friends (the Campbells) who used to be in our ward years ago and had a wonderful visit with them. We met a couple whom we sat with to eat. She owns a salon and does pedicures for Theresa Hulbert all the time and her husband works for a plant out in Parma. They were so fun and we had the best visit with them.
It was a lovely day and we were so glad to be able to go. We will miss them and look forward to emails from them while they serve in Africa. They will be gone 24 months and hope to come back to serve when they return. Who knows, maybe we'll have a Caldwell Temple by then or soon thereafter.
