HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
We got up at 6:45 this morning. I had to drop off my Relief Society Newsletter message at Mindy's house. Her light was on but no one answered the door so I put it in the door jam and off we went tot he gym. Pat was there at the same time. It was raining pretty good. We walked our 4 miles and then sat down with Rena to visit a bit.
She is doing really well and walked a couple of laps with her husband Chuck.
Before we left, Carol's daughter showed up with her new baby.
Carol talks about the two of them all the time and it was so nice to finally meet them both. The baby is 3 months old and so cute. Carol only has the one daughter and so she is thrilled with the one grandbaby! So happy for her.
When I got home, there was a package on the front porch. My lovely Taylor Sister's sent me this beautiful 4th of July bracelet. They are so sweet! I love them, and I love this!
AND, my Mumm is in FULL BLOOM and even though it is the only flower on the huge plant, it is so pretty! Now, we are relaxing till all the family is out of the theater (they all went to the new Jurassic movie) and when they are out, we are going to Chick Fil A for lunch and then back to Lynn's to play games. We will leave early because we work early at the temple tomorrow morning, and the kids plan to go to the park to watch fireworks. Then we'll probably get together again tomorrow and they will leave after church on Sunday to go home.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Sister, Donna. She is our 4th of July baby! Wish I could celebrate with her!
I just got word that my dear friend (Carrie Jorgensen) passed away this morning. She gained her Independence on the 4th. She had cancer and went through Chemo and radiation, but got so sick and decided she didn't want to go through it again. She wanted to live her last days feeling and loving her family and friends. I am so grateful, Tony and I went to visit her in the hospital a couple of weeks ago. She was a great woman & friend!
