CLAIRE'S WEDDING

It's going to be a busy Friday, as Claire & Thomas are getting married this evening. It's in Emmett so I've got some things to do before we leave.  We did go to the gym and I walked with Pat. She was feeling so much better today. Yesterday at the gym, she wasn't feeling well. She has been on a medication since her last heart episode and the side affects were horrible. We only walked 9 laps and she had to quit. Tony drove her car and followed me and Pat to St. Al's'. She was shaking, dizzy and very dry mouthed. She told us to leave so we went to Walmart and Winco which were close to St. A;s until she called me and said she was going to be ok and could get herself home.  She gets to cut her dosage of medication in half. So glad for her. They also got the autopsy report from Ecuador on her granddaughter.  Evidently, she had a brain bleed. She had an aneurism that blew up when she was underwater. The pressure must have been very bad and she probably threw her go pro off because of the pressure and she was able to get herself to the surface. They put her on the boat and tried to revive her but could not. Pat said that they at least now know what the problem was and have some clouisure. Still, so sad!

Got home and before coming in to make breakfast and get started on some things, I took a couple of pictures of my plants. The one flower (that survived the fall of Carol ross) is starting to bloom. The strangest flower I have ever seen. One bud at a time. lol

The Begonias are blooming and are so beautiful. This one is a lovely pink but the sun was so bright, it looks white. Oh well. Still pretty. I came in and made us oatmeal with nuts and raspberries for breakfast.  I started a couple of loads of laundry after eating and then went to my craft room to make some small cards to put on all the Christmas gifts I'm taking to the coast.

I had four that I thought I could use and discovered I'd put a thank you on the inside. I was able to use some that didn't have that but realized I needed more so I got busy in my craft room and made nice small cards to label the gifts I'm taking over.

I made nine of these and got things taken care of. I'm gonna start packing soon as well because we want to leave as soon as my infusion is finished next Thursday.  Well, gotta finish my laundry and get ready for Claires wedding.
Tony and I drove out at 3:50 or so. Because of the traffic, the GPS took us through Middleton and on a bunch of back roads. We made it to the venue just before 5. We met up with Traci and Isabel. We went out to sit in the chairs. It was not a bad temperature but very sunny. Tony went back under an awning because things weren't starting.  HOWEVER, things got going about 10 after 5. It was a nice ceremony and the kids vow's were really nice.  After the ceremony, the guests were invited to go inside while the wedding party had pictures done. They had some wonderful horderves and nice cold water and lemonade. We went out to get Traci's birthday gift from Heather. LOL  It took a while to get it to her. I tried but our schedules didn't seem to coincide.

Just before Tony and I had to leave, we got pictures of  Traci and Isabel. They looked so pretty!

Traci took one of us!

Then we got one together.
It was a nice evening. We didn't get to stay for the entire party because of our Temple shift the next day but I got some wonderful pictures off Claires post.
Like this one. The people who own the venue asked Claire if she wanted to use it and she did!  Pretty cool  for sure!
Saturday was a nice day at the temple. I am so grateful for the peace I feel there. We were the Veil Coordinators.  Love it there.

Sunday evening  we had the Elders and Rolando over for a discussion.  It was also a nice evening.

We had watermelon before they left.
Then to bed.

Monday after the gym, we came home ate a quick breakfast and then we did our yard work. I mowed our yard and Tony did the ladies.

My flowers are still blooming.

I picked tomatoes in the garden and I got a bunch. I've been giving them away the past two days.
