Sunday at church, we filled in our dots on the chart in the hall. It's getting filled up quickly.
I think we'll make it by October General Conference.
Monday, after the gym, we got busy on our yard work. After I got the yard mowed, I picked the tomatoes. I gave some cherry tomatoes to Suzette across the street.
And I had an abundance of Roma's so I gave some to Patrick next door and Suzette took some of them as well. She said she was going to make a tomato pie. I asked for the recipe and decided to make it on Wednesday for the Elder's and Liz. I kept all these for myself.
Tuesday, we took Lynn, Joyce & Lubov to the temple with us. It was a lovely day and we were able to do 5 endowments and 41 sealings. We only did one hour of sealings as Tony was subbing the late shift.
Lubov wanted a picture as we were leaving. She loves to send pictures to her daughter in Spain. She plans to move there in November when she retires. we drove to FREDDY'S in Nampa and had lunch. Then we took the ladies home and I changed and then got ready to go to Suzette's. Tony left to go back to work the late shift
I went to Suzette's and we worked on our birdhouses in her back yard. We sanded and then painted them. We had a nice afternoon and the weather was not too bad.
They aren't beautiful but it was fun and the birds won't care! lol I was with Suzette about 3 hours and then came home and read MARILLA for book club in 2 weeks. Tony didn't get home till after 9. It would have been sooner but his mother called him and said she needed to stop at the church to see if she left her purse there. Shelly had picked her up and Lynn gave her an organ lesson. She got home and couldn't find her purse. She also lost her keys and her glasses so Tony found them all. He was pretty frustrated when he got home.
He didn't sleep very well last night ..... We got up and went to the gym, Had a good visit with Pat.
We came home and I put together the Tomato Pie for lunch while Tony mowed Joyce's lawn. Tony finished and came to take a shower. Liz showed up at noon and we sat down to visit. Then I got a call from the Elder's and they had something come up. They wanted to come later but we had a doctor appointment at 2 so we went a head and ate lunch with Liz, had a discussion about a couple of things she wanted to talk about. Repentance and the Holy Ghost. It was nice. After Liz left, we had to go to our doctor appointment. We went to pick up Lynn and she wasn't home. Tony called her and asked her where she was. She said she was at the doctor because her appointment was at 2 and we weren't there. lol Tony said, "I told you it was at 2:20 and we would pick you up." Anyway, we took off for the office and she calls and says "They told me my appointment isn't till 5".....she was at the wrong doctor appointment. We turned around and went back to get her. Tony had her follow us to the correct doctor. We were all seen and got our annual physicals. I got a pneumonia shot, Tony a tetanus as well as his ears getting cleaned out. By the time we all 3 finished, it was time for Lynn to go to the appointment she went to 1st. lol So, she took off and Tony and I went to her house to find her remotes that she couldn't find and then we headed to Meridian to meet up with Abby Munn.
We worked with her at the temple before she headed off to college at BYU Idaho. She was heading to a spray tanning place because she is in a wedding for her best friend tomorrow.
We met her at MOJO'S a donut and ice-cream place right by the temple. We saw on line that a donut was $2.95 apiece but it just so happened that we hit "HAPPY HOUR" and they were $1 apiece.
We each got a donut and had a wonderful visit. She is just so sweet. I really enjoyed serving with her at the temple. We are going to try and get together for lunch before she leaves to go back to school. We got home and are relaxing before bed. It's been a good few days.
