Diane got to town Monday night so we all went to the temple Tuesday morning. It was a beautiful day and we each did an endowment, them sealings and then 5 Initiatory each. We were able to get 85 ordinances completed. It was nice!!
After leaving the temple, we went to THE HABIT for lunch. Then we decided to drive up to Melissa's new house to see the baby. Ellie was on the couch with little Evie so I put on the hand sanitizer and she handed her over.
The baby was rooting and it was so cute!!
However, I couldn't satisfy her .....
She started to fuss. When she wants to eat, she wants to eat!! lol
So I gave her back to Momma and she ate was was content!!
She'd open her little eyes a little and Ellie said she was milk drunk! lol She is now 14 days old and back up to, and a little past her birth weight. She is such a little cutie!
Grandpa held her and she went right back to sleep!
This was Lynn's 1st time seeing Evelyn, and she was a little leary of holding her. But she eventually did and loved every minute!! We finally said we had to leave because I had to get ready for the Relief Society activity. We dropped off Joyce and Lynn and Diane went home. We rested for a bit and then went to the church. Tony came with me and I was glad he did.
The activity was on Missionary's and Brother Bishop, who is our ward Mission Leader came and talked to us a bit of what he does. The new Sister Missionaries were there and we hoped the Elder's would come but they didn't. We decorated the tables with all kinds of items that the sisters in the ward donated to help stock the Missionaries pantry's. They got peanut butter, cans of soup, beans, jam, nuts, cheese, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, cereal, ...you name it, they got it. The girls were thrilled and said they would share it with the Elder's and other Sister Missionaries. We loaded it all up in our car and Tony and I took it to their apartment when the evening was all over.
Lincoln Hendricks was also there with his family and friends to open his Mission Call in the Relief Society room. When he finished doing that, he came into the cultural hall and announced to all of us there. He is going to Argentina. He was pretty pumped and his Mother, Lisa was very emotional. He is the last of their four children and the 1st to go on a mission. So happy for them!! It was a great day!
