Oh my goodness, Mondays are so busy!! Today was jam packed, BUT, we accomplished a lot! We met Pat at the gym at 7:30. The moon was out still....YES, this is the moon!!
It was the blood moon last night and I forgot to look to see but my sister in Utah took this picture
After our exercise day, we came home and ate the last of the cinnamon rolls. Man, they were so good! We both loved them but I decided I'd better not make them very often because they are so fattening. Anyway, after eating, Tony left for his mother's house to mow and I hit our yard. After getting the front and back done, I did a little weeding and then headed to the garden.
I picked tomatoes and nearly filled a garbage can with them. Then I started pulling them out. I should be canning but I seriously don't have the time this year. I took them in the house, washed them and then bagged up some to give away. I'll bring Pat a bag of cherry tomatoes on Wednesday. She loves them. I had Tony get down my pack and play and I put it on MarketPlace. I hope it sells. I sold my Halloween village on Saturday so I hope this goes.
He took off branches and bundled them and tied them together so the garbage man will be able to take them away easier.
It was a BIG JOB and I'm sure he'll sleep well tonight.
He plans on taking the stump out another day. He went over the yard again when he finished. He got 40 some thousand steps today! Whew!! I got 25 thousand and I'm pooped so I know he is!! I was doing laundry and some ironing while he was busy with this.
When he was done, we had to go to the church to set up tables and chairs for Relief Society tomorrow night.
I went down the hall after we finished and took a picture of our poster. we got it filled and people are putting dots in the middle ! It's great to see so many attending the temple. we hoped to have it filled by General Conference and we had it done by the 1st of September. It will be loaded by October and GC. So Cool!! we then stopped by the Poulsen's house. They just got back from a cruise to Alaska. I brought over Jan's birthday gift and we had a good visit while they told us all about their trip. They want to go on a cruise with us sometime!! I'd love to. Hope we can make it happen sometime.
Their daughter Sydney, gave me a sour dough starter and said she would send me some recipes. She is such a sweet gal and her older sister is my hygienist. Beautiful wonderful girls. I just love the Poulson family so much!! We left after a good hour visit and ran to WINCO for the cookies and soap that I was supposed to buy for the Missionary's. It's actually for the activity tomorrow night. We are all bringing things to stock the Missionary's pantry's. I'm bring peanut butter, cookies and soap. It will be a fun evening. Now, I'm off to bed. We will be going to the temple in the morning with Lynn, Joyce and Diane who got here this evening. She is taking Lynn and Joyce back to Utah on Wednesday for a couple of weeks. It will be nice.
