CHRISTMAS AND ENJOYING THE LAST OF SUMMER BLOOMS

Wednesday night I got three more Shell Shadow Boxes done.

I wanted to make one for Deb & Diane and a third for my friend Pat.

I might have to open this one back up and add a couple more small shells........but I probably won't. lol 

This one does look better !

Bagged and ready to go home to UTAH!

We went to the gym this morning and then came home, grabbed some breakfast and then we got busy on the lawns. I mowed ours. I really need to gut the garden and trim back bushes but it will have to wait till next week. With the funeral and all, it is just too busy a week. We were going to blow out the sprinklers too but that will have to wait as well. 

My Begonias are blooming really nice. They seem to like the cooler weather better than the hot.

I really love the dark red one. This is the 1st year I've got a red one and IF I can find them next year, I'll get them again!

The pink one next to it is pretty too but the RED is better. lol

The yellow one in the back had to endure the dang squirrels digging holes in the pot all summer but it still managed to bloom.

My Transvaal Daisy's are in two pots. This one is looking frozen.

But this one is still thriving.  WEIRD!

And the Dalia in the back finally had a bloom. I think next year, I'll put them in the ground instead of in pots and see if they bloom more. Anyway, I'm enjoying the last of them till it really gets cold and they all die. Maybe by next week. We'll see. I'm headed to my kidney doctor and then out to eat with all the family that is in town for the funeral. We are supposed to call when we are on the way home.
