DINNER WITH THE FAMILY

I had my appointment with Doctor Keller on Thursday.  I was so pleasantly surprised. I look at my labs which I do a week before my appointment and I see the results and they are all abnormal. The last time I went in, I saw Cypress, who is Doctor Keller's assistant. I brought it up to her and she said, "LaVERNE, YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO BE NORMAL!!" lol  So I decided to not worry about the results and just wait to see what he says. I was so happy!! He said I am doing GREAT!!  He said he is going to keep me on the Rituxan drip for one more year (so two more times) and then we'll decide if I can just take a pill, quit completely or stay on the drip. He said my numbers are consistently coming down and he is thrilled with my progress. I seriously feel so grateful to Dr. Keller for taking me on as his patient when I was in the hospital. He saved my life! 

  We made plans to go to dinner with the family that were in town for Joyce's funeral. We decided to meet at Texas Roadhouse!

Eleven of us went and Tony and I sat with Dave & Jodell.

All the other's sat at the big table across from us!

It was a nice evening but I really wished we could have all sat together. We didn't get to visit with the others.

But, it was still great! We have been going over to the house on occasion but they have been working so hard cleaning things out that we felt like we couldn't stay too long. Still, it was fun.
