GOOD FRIENDS FOREVER AND SAD NEWS

Friday, my good friend, Tammy Williams came to town for one of  her sister's daughters wedding.  Phew!  lol  She and her husband came straight to my house so we could visit a little before she drove back to Meridian to stay with her sister, Janae. They knew we went to bed early due to our temple shift on Saturday morning. We had a good 1 and 1/2 hour visit before they took off for Meridian.

We got a picture together.

My friends are all skinny..... then there's me.

I found this picture on my phone so I sent it to her as well. I got to see her as well as Trudy and Janae at the temple on Saturday. The wedding was at 11 and so I went to the waiting room at 10:30 and got to see her one more time. It was nice. They were leaving on Sunday to go home to Utah so I knew I wouldn't see her again till I make a trip to Utah. Not sure when that will be.
We drove home and when we were almost to Nampa, we called Cindy to see how Joyce was doing and asked if we could come up and see her again. Cindy said "definitely" but then warned us that she was fading fast. She had been awake the previous night and was visiting with them all and then in the morning was fading. We dropped off Lubov at home and she wanted to go to the hospital with us, so we said we'll change our clothes, eat a bite and come and get you and Lynn. While we were eating a piece of pizza, Cindy called and said she was gone. Instead of 1 to 2 weeks, she lasted 1 to 2 days. It was quick but Heidi said she felt the presence of her dad, her brother and her grandparents. Shortly after she arrived, Joyce passed and Heidi said she could feel her joy! I am so happy she was able to pass quickly and did not linger & suffer anymore.  I posted on the Ward Facebook page and soon got this picture from my friend Jorjette. She & Lamont used to be Bob and Joyce's ministering couple until they moved out of the ward.

She said this was taken at an outdoor concert at the Idaho Center. Joyce loved music and it looks like she is thoroughly enjoying it here. She is backed up against her husband, Bob.

One of her girls posted this cute picture of her. She was always smiling and was truly a happy lady. She will be missed but we are all so happy that she is on the other side of the veil with her loved ones who preceded her in death.
