SCOTLYN'S FALL CONCERT & OUR NEW 1ST PRESIDENCY

I went to Scotlyn's Fall concert last night. Tony was tired so he stayed home.

All in all, it was a very good concert. Scotlyn is getting to be a beautiful singer and we were right up front so I could hear her! SERIOUSLY!!

It was pretty cool! Her friend Gracie was right beside her. We sat with friends and it was fun to be with Jill. She gave me a birthday present (which I wasn't expecting) and it is my favorite lotion and bath gel from Mary Kay!!  Pretty awesome!

After the concert, I got to meet Porter's parents. (really nice people) and of course I got pictures of the two cuties! He brought her flowers! How sweet!!

Look at the look on his face. Pure adoration for her! I told his folks how much we thought of Porter and the father said how much they thought of Scotlyn and he told his son "Don't mess this up!" lol

Today, the church announced our new 1st Presidency! Of course we knew President Oaks was going to be the new Prophet. I love how the "Line of Authority" works.  We are now waiting to hear who the new apostle is who will be called.  Pretty exciting. Today, after the gym, we stopped by the church and set up tables and chairs for the Relief Society activity tonight. Then we picked up music from Klynn for the funeral and asked her if she would be the organist. Tony also sent a message to Lisa to see if she will conduct the music, Cindy sent a message to Brother Poulson to see if he would speak. Of course he said yes. We helped Cindy for a bit as the others were all out getting rid of stuff at the dump etc. Diane went over later this afternoon and took a bunch of thing to the DI for them.  I am trying to stay out of their hair for now as they have a lot to get ready.
After showering, I went to my craft room and cut out dies from a sled set I got. I cut out several pieces of the set and then decided to put a card together.

It's OK but not exactly what I wanted so I'll experiment with the dies as I have time. I've got to go to Relief Society now so best call it a day! It was a wet day but finally turned sunny this afternoon.
