EVENING WITH SCOTLYN & PORTER

Scotlyn and Porter came over for dinner tonight. I was hoping Mostyn was going to come too but he recently had another seizure, and he was really sore and tired so he opted out. 

They came at 4 and we just had ham and cheese sliders, chips and pumpkin pie. Then we played GOLF. It was so much fun and I get a big kick outta these two cuties.  I told them how much I appreciate them entertaining us two old farts. Scotlyn won the game with Porter and me tying and Tony came in last place. (which was a shocker)

They stayed a little over 2 hours and then Porter was going to the gym to workout so they let me take a picture in front of the tree.....

TWICE!!  lol  What a difference the color change made.  I bagged up 3 sandwiches and some chips for Mostyn and off they went. After they left, Tony took off for LOWES to check if they had the things he wanted to make a new gate in the back. I cleaned up the kitchen and then blogged.

AND, now I'm back to my book! It is so stinkin good. I've been reading all afternoon. In-between loads of laundry and cooking.  I can't hardly put it down. It was a good day! Tony went to the Electricians luncheon alone. It was at GOLDEN CORRAL and I really don't like that place so I opted out because I wanted to get things ready for the kids coming over. It was a wise choice!
