This morning after our workout, we stopped by Walmart and I got some broccoli. It's our activity night at Relief Society tonight and I had to make a soup for it. After we got home and ate breakfast, Tony started cleaning out the garage and putting things in his new shed.
He put up some hanging apparatus's and hung some things and put some things on the shelves.
I made a cheese and broccoli soup on the stove and then transferred it to the crockpot and turned it to warm. Then I sat down and finished my book! Now I can start on my "Birthday book" by Dan Brown!
Tony did some cleaning in the big shed as well and transferred the bikes over so he can easily get to his saws. I told him we may as well sell our bikes if we don't use them next year. lol
At one point, he brought in my BIG NATIVITY that Lynn bought us a couple of years ago. It was the last decoration I needed to put up! NOW, I'm done!!
I wanted to start on the salt & pepper shakers that will be snow men. I got some painting done but then went down to make Tony dinner. I've got to go pick up Lynn for the activity so will post more when I get home..........................................
The activity went well. ALL of my soup got taken and there was only ONE soup that was left and that was because we ran out of containers to take it home in. After eating, we were all supposed to take containers of soup and bread home and give it to someone we minister to that wasn't there. Unfortunately, I didn't get to do that but I was glad they enjoyed my soup. As I was leaving, I noticed Brother Edge in the foyer reading. He was the Priesthood holder that was in our building with us. He was reading the new Dan Brown book that I had just started before I left for the activity.
I asked him how he liked it and said I had just started it today. He said he was a slow reader but he was enjoying it. I said I was going to read when I got home, and I did. It's a page turner. SO GOOD!!
I had to put it away as we went to bed and read our scriptures.
We got up at 8 this morning. Felt good to sleep in. We picked up Lynn and went to the Boise Temple. We did 2 endowments each and then 5 Initiatory each.
It was a lovely day (for November) and I actually got hot riding home in the car. We went to Costco and filled Lynn's car up with gas and then ran her car through the car wash. Then we went to ARBY'S and ate some lunch. I was disappointed in my meal. The curly fries must have been the bottom of the bag and weren't curly and they actually seemed like they'd been cooked twice! The bun on my sandwich was burnt and all I really enjoyed was the root beer. lol
ANYway, we are home and I'm gonna read my book till Tony come in and turns on the TV. :(
