IT'S GETTING TO BE THE BUSY SEASON!~

Wednesday I started working on some Christmas giveaways. I made a couple of gift boxes for Lip gloss and then some paper packages to put a gift card inside. That evening, Traci called me and asked me if I would be interested in 3 tickets to
 THE MICHAEL JACKSON MUSICAL!!
SAY WHAT??  NOT ONLY YES, BUT YOU BET!! She said she had already seen it and she was going to go again but her work Christmas party was Thursday night so she was offering them to me.
I called my friend, Pat and asked her if she wanted to go on a hot date!! lol She was so excited when I told her about it.  We made plans to meet at the gym in the morning and discuss it. We got up and headed to the gym in the morning and we both were so excited.

Thursday, after getting home from the gym, I made a batch of Almond Roca, showered, did my hair and got ready to go to a doctor appointment. All 3 of us (Tony, Lynn and I ) had to meet with a new doctor. We got there at 1:30 in the afternoon. Toy went in 1st, then me, and Lynn was last. We were glad Diane came with mom because we wanted to make sure we got out in time to make it to the musical. The new doctor was really nice and he assured me he was going as fast as he could so we'd make the musical. Tony and I got out at 4:15. We drove to the rec center and met Pat. She got in the car with us and we went to Freddy's to eat a burger before leaving for the Morrison Center in Boise. It was raining hard.  Traci told us to try and get on the lowest level so we could get out immediately after the show was over. We were lucky and found a parking spot right up close. I took one of Tony's arms and told Pat to take his other arm and off we went. Luckily, a man in a golf cart came by and told us he'd drive us to the front of the building. He did, we went in and got our tickets and headed to the level we were assigned to.

We sat on a padded bench and looked through the program and got more excited by the minute.

We had a lady take a picture of us.
Our hair was drenched but we didn't care.
We're seeing Michael Jackson!!  (who cares if it's an impersonator)

We weren't allowed to take pictures but I got a couple off the Internet. The show was FABULOUS!!

The lights, costumes, dancing and the story was phenomenal!! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  I didn't want it to end.
BUT, it did and we were able to get out of the parking lot quickly. It had quit raining and the ride home was filled with all kinds of conversation about Michael and his life.
Friday at the gym, our conversation continued. Pat and I can't thank Traci enough. I really think my grandson, Maddox, would
LOVE, Love, love  this show!

I got home from the gym and got my Ministering Gifts put together. I plan to go see my sister's Sunday after church.
We went to Lynn's, and Diane made Gotto Gotto for dinner. It's an Indonesian dish of rice, vegetables and peanut sauce. we played Golf for a while after, and then we headed home because we needed to be at the temple Saturday morning at 5:30am.  Our Ward Christmas party was at 6 that evening but we had to miss it.

We were able to leave the temple at 9am so we could get to Heidi's funeral. It was held at the Deer Flat building. We went to the viewing and she seriously looked beautiful! It's amazing what they can do. She had lost so much weight and didn't want an open casket. Clint said he thought she would forgive him.  There was a lovely luncheon after the service. It was so well attended.

I got to see Jodell and Stephanie again and Cynthia as well.  Not a fun way to get to see old friends but it was a beautiful service. We didn't go to the cemetery because we wanted to get home to rest a bit before going to Nathan's Surprise 50th birthday party!

We went up to Nate & Melissa's at 5:30. Melissa had Nate out shopping, looking at new cars, playing at Top Golf and so on.

I got to hold Evelyn and  visit with a lot of friends!

Margie, was one I visited with. She got to hold pretty little Evie too!

Melissa's tree was gorgeous!!

They showed up a little after six. It was a good turnout for his birthday. I don't know if he was very surprised but I know he had a great time!! It was catered and there was pulled pork, tri tip, potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, cakes and fruit. It was delicious!!

Nate's brother gave him a funny gift with things for an old person in it. It was pretty hilarious! It's been a full week and tomorrow is gonna be busy as well. Going to practice for our Christmas program which will be the following Sunday. Then church, and after dinner, I'm going to deliver to my Ministering Sisters. Christmas time is wonderful.
BUSY BUT WONDERFUL!
