GAVE IT ALL AWAY AND MADE MORE TODAY!

Tony and I got to the gym at 8 this morning. My feet are feeling a little better. I was thinking I was going to talk Pat into riding an elliptical but I managed to walk the four miles, slow but I did it! After the gym, we stopped by Lorna's house. She is a good friend from church. She and her husband will be leaving for South Carolina in another week. They started that last year after she retired. They stay with their daughter and grandchildren for several months. SO, she has been re-doing their home here in Nampa while they have been home. SHE has been working on all the electrical outlets and has called Tony a time or two with questions. So we stopped and Tony answered more questions for her and then said he would go back over to help her with some of his tools. We had some shopping to do so left to do that. We went to Costco 1st and picked up some things we needed. I had a prescription to get and when you go into Costco, you ALWAYS come home with more than we need.  LOL Then we ran over to Winco and got what we needed there. I wanted some things in bulk section. Then we came home and ate BRUNCH, because it was past breakfast and close to lunchtime. I had leftover waffle batter so waffles and bacon it was.  Once we finished eating, Tony left to help Lorna and I started making more edible gifts to give away. I made a white chocolate cereal and pretzel mix with M&M's. 

I packaged up several cellophane bags and tied on a SANTA with some curled ribbon. 

It doesn't look super appealing but it tasted good!!

Then I made Chocolate Chip cookies with Rice Krispies. A new recipe and they are kinda flat but again, they taste good! lol

I got a new recipe for Almond Roca .... however, I won't use it again. It's too soft and I wasn't happy with it.  DANG!!

Tony and I have been trying to come up with a gift for our good friends, The Poulson's and we have to bring a gift for a man and a gift for a woman to the Electricians luncheon this coming Thursday and the Bostrom's white elephant party that evening. Anyway, we decided gift cards were the way to go (except for the white elephant party) so I made six more gift card holder's this evening. 

Now, we are relaxing and watching THE VOICE. I'm beat!
